Do yourself a favor, and stop here if you are looking for a touch of authentic and dash of goodness. Decades of love fills this family owned restaurant, recipes passed down from one generation to another. Making on site the tortillas for a beautiful dining experience, this is a great example of showing how food quality is always important for their customers. Love LoVE LOVED this food and my time here.

Taco Factory is the real deal. Their food feels culturally accurate, not watered down, and it starts with the tortillas: easily the best around. Soft, fresh, and the kind that actually tastes like something (which sounds obvious, but somehow it’s rare).
I keep coming back for the carnitas tacos, and they never miss. The carnitas are flavorful, tender, and balanced, rich without being greasy, and they pair perfectly with those tortillas. It’s the kind of taco that makes you pause mid-bite like, “Yep… this is why I came.”
The ambiance is another win. Inside, it’s genuinely appealing with a Mexican-style vibe that feels warm and intentional, not like someone hung up a random sombrero and called it a day. Taco Factory has become my go-to spot when I want tacos done right.

The tacos are great and the hospitality is even better! Juan was so nice and makes one heck of a drink! I had the flank steak, sweet pork, steak, and chicken tacos and all were super delicious, flavorful, and filling. I can’t wait to come back!

Legit taco spot with great service
There are a lot of Mexican places in Middletown, but this one truly stood out. When we walked in, we were greeted by a very positive waiter and seated promptly. The menu has a great assortment of food, but we focused mostly on tacos and the soup. Since everything is handmade there it did take a little while, but not too long. It was totally worth it since everything was delicious and fresh.
I even went in the back to see where they’re making the tortillas and one of the people who worked there invited me to get closer so I could see how they were done. You can tell they have a lot of pride and how they make the food there. Can’t wait to come back soon.

One of my absolute favorite Mexican restaurants! The service is awesome and the food is hands down some of the best around. They actually make all of the tortillas in house. Make sure you try their Birria tacos, they are insanely delicious!!! I would definitely recommend stopping by

Taco factory is a little gem, my husband and I actually make the drive up from rockland county to enjoy the delicious and authentic Mexican food. Due to the drive we always dine in and have unfortunately noticed the service has gone a bit down hill each time. This past weekend we were informed they were short staffed, so our food would take a bit longer, fine, but we were there just shy of 2 hours (!) before we got our food. We had a toddler with us and no back up plan for dinner, which is the only reason we stayed. Unfortunately we’re now a bit nervous to make the 45 minute drive in fear we’ll be stuck at a table entertaining a toddler for nearly 2 hours. They seems to prioritize take out, which prolonged the food even more for the people Who decide to dine in.

The Taco Factory has consistently been my favorite taco spot for years! Before the upgrade (which looks amazing inside by the way) when it was just a “hole in the wall”. If I’m ever in Middletown, I don’t leave until I get some of their lengua tacos. My recent visit I did just that, and again, I was not disappointed. For someone who doesn’t go for *too hot* hot sauces, their green sauce is balanced with flavor and heat. I saw our server pouring this beautifully orange drink and asked for a glass which turned out to be the pineapple lemonade. I recommend trying it, it was delicious. I also love their tortillas that’re made in-house, and I took one of their delicious (and gargantuan) chorizo burritos home for lunch the next day. My ooone gripe is that there is a long wait time for our food which I’m not used to… Other than that, a joy to visit and eat at the Taco Factory as usual.

Yes, they take a long time BUT I will wait for them for as long as they need me to. My cousin told me about this spot and I will forever be thankful to her. The food is delicious. It’s fresh. The guacamole is pretty good. They have a green spicy sauce, mad good. I don’t like spicy food but I got to have that with my tacos. This is my favorite meal and I would have it all week if I could. Like when I am at work and I think about dinner and it’s Taco Factory my world is made right lol Much success to the owners.
