Husband and I have a wonderful time whenever we visit The Table Bistro. Our most recent visit was on a Wednesday afternoon around 12pm, so we knew we were hitting the lunch rush. When we were seated, we were immediately warned that the kitchen was running about 45 minutes behind. I appreciated the upfront warning and let her know we were happy to wait. The food has always been worth the wait. Husband always gets the same thing: the coconut and macadamia crusted fish over a bed of rice ($15). I’ve enjoyed the fish, but have also liked the crabbed stuffed salmon over rice ($19,) the flounder almondine over rice ($16,) and a mushroom stuffed dish that I don’t think is on the menu anymore. Whenever the food come, my first thought is always how pretty it is. The presentation is top notch. No food is ever leftover on our plates. The seating area is fairly small. There is one unisex bathroom, but has always been clean and tidy. There’s a changing table, which I appreciate, but will likely never bring one of my babies here. I’ve always managed to find a parking spot, but I can see if getting filled up easily. The hours aren’t long, so I would suggest calling to check beforehand. Regardless of any inconveniences to dine here, I don’t hesitate to highly recommend going and thoroughly enjoying yourself.

A charming little family-run hidden gem. It has a small-but-focused menu that features playful yet familiar flavors. Atmosphere is unpretentious and cozy, but the food is the real main attraction.

The macadamia coconut crusted fish was absolutely scrumptious. The presentation was next level. The only downside was we had to wait 30 minutes to get our food as there was only one cook on the day.

Both my friend and I got the grouper/shrimp special and split the yuzu miso salad. DELICIOUS and so pleasantly light, we will be back many many times for sure !!! One of Athens few high quality restaurants open for lunch on a Monday

New find for me and hard to see from Baxter. It’s between two strips in what looks like office buildings. Little tight on space if you’re using crutches or a wheelchair but service was fantastic and I believe they would assist. I had crab cake appetizer, Maison salad with chicken, and cheesecake dessert and it was all excellent though I would probably get a different salad. Outside dining available as well.

Good food for sure BUT..menu hasn’t changed in 5 years, hardly ever open and when they are the service is so slow you’ll get turned away so they can close on time. Stopped going specifically because it’s impossible to get a table unless you rock up at 11.30…that’s if they open at all. It’s a hobby place rather than a serious eatery…which is a shame.

I love this place for the past five years since I was a student living here so I come here when I can from Atlanta to make the drive still. The food is great and the service is always kind and prompt. I know that the hours are limited so I checked prior to coming and on google it says that they are currently open but was disappointed to see that they were closed. I’d like to come again if I can make the trip in the future but would like if the hours online would be updated properly at least since this is my 3rd time experiencing this.
