Me and my new fiancé just went to the syndicate for the first time today for brunch to celebrate our recent 7 year dating anniversary and our engagement! I loved this experience! Great atmosphere, great food, great service! It was very peaceful and they were so kind! They even gave us a little card to congratulate us and free piece of cake! Might be our new favorite go to dining! Thank you!

Absolutely amazing food. My fiancé and I ate here last night, we had the fondue pot for an appetizer and was awesome. She got the filet with smashed potatoes and asparagus, I got the ribeye with potatoes au gratin and Caesar Brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were the best I’ve ever had, nice and crispy but also tender. We’ll definitely be back.

Sunday brunch this past weekend was the best! Had a great meal with my wife, daughter and son-in-law. My wife said her French Toast with Praline syrup and pecans was wonderful (Sweet tooth required). My daughter’s Birria Hash was equally appreciated. SiL’s Burrito was considered one of the best he’s eaten ( this is coming from a self described burrito connoisseur. I believe him.)
My Shrimp and Grits was over the top! Smooth and creamy grits and shrimp topped with bacon bits and a couple of chicken pieces. Definitely worth coming back for again.
Lindsay was a most welcoming server and accommodated our every wish with a smile. A perfect complement to The Syndicate team!
The ONLY request I would make is to turn down the music sound level as it was hard to hear the family talking (This is compounded by having to wear hearing aids).
Other than that, I really enjoy coming here and look forward to coming back again!

Took an 8pm reservation and we placed our drink and appetizer orders fairly soon after sitting down. The first round of drinks were brought reasonably soon as well as the apps, but it was over an hour before anyone checked on us or our entrees came. We saw staff literally sitting down and chatting with other tables during the busy period. We finally went to the bar and just ordered drinks ourselves. The food was pretty good although our medium rare steaks were very much medium. There was a tasty thyme ginger cocktail and we were looking forward to trying others but we were forgotten for an hour. Desserts looked good as well but it was so late by the time we finished eating we just wanted to leave.

Nothing wrong with our experience. Good overall. Service was polite and prompt. Atmosphere was nice. Food was good not great…. We might have just ordered the wrong items.

While The Syndicate is still one of my top favorite area restaurants they are starting to be out of popular products on Saturday nights. I dined on 12/20/25 and was told they were out of grouper and salmon. The grouper is the dish I planned on ordering so I had to alter my order. At this visit I purchased $200 worth of gift cards and received 2-$20 free in bonus gift cards. I next dined on 1/10/26 and they were once again out of products including their surf and turf feature, garlic and herb salad dressing and charcuterie board. My party had a $170 bill and I provided my 2-$20 bonus gift cards and 2 $100 certificates to cover the bill. The waitress came back to tell me only 1 bonus card could be used per visit. This information was NOT disclosed to me at time of purchase nor posted on their Facebook posts that highlighted the bonus gift cards of purchase $100 in gift cards get $20 bonus card free. Our waitress even commented that she did not know only 1 bonus card could be used per visit. The time of use of the bonus gift cards is extremely short especially for their customers that travel to be able to only use 1 card per visit. Now I need to come back by 2/13/26 to be able to spend my other $20 bonus gift card and I live 45 min away. Typically I am pleased with my experience at the Syndicate but starting to get frustrated with frequently out of stock items on Saturday nights.

*Updated* Went on Saturday evening and as expected the service was amazing. This trip, of course we did the Fried Calamari and Spinach & Artichoke Dip. Posted a pic of the Calamari for those who like my pics. I did the Thai Lettuce Wraps for my entrée (pic as well). For those who like food with a kick, this menu item is for you. I was NOT disappointed. My husband went for the Schnitzel (new pic added). The pork was moist and tender but he was impressed with the sweet pepper mustard served with it, over all he gave the meal .

My husband and I went here for dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we were so impressed! The food was delicious, our server was so kind, knowledgeable and attentive, and even brought us a card thanking us for sharing this special day with them, and offering cake on the house . We will absolutely be back!

Food was great! Appetizer: Spinach dip; was good but didn’t like that there was more dip than chips then the restaurant wanted to charge for more chips… Chicken Alfredo was good, as well as my drink: Pineapple Express; It’s definitely some alcohol in that! My boyfriend enjoyed his burger and his drink; The Smoked Old Fashioned. The atmosphere was nice, just business casual.. and the restaurant was clean and the restrooms. Everything pictured was $83

Came for dinner and left impressed. Started off with an old fashioned that was spot on. Appetizer was the tuna nachos. Much better than expected and reminded me of my Grand Cayman reviews with the freshness and balanced flavors and spice. Main was the filet with mash and asparagus. Again, spot on. Choice of sauces but went straight up. Tender and pure with medium grilling. Reminded me of the steak house at Bellagio……can’t believe I’m saying that In Bellefontaine. Local raised beef and it tastes like it. Too full for dessert. Service was great and the atmosphere was casual relaxed but still up a notch. Probably one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Ohio.
