The shop is so cheerful inside, with rainbow sherbet colored walls and art and photos that have been adorably ice cream-ified. Plus my vanilla cone was the BEST vanilla ice cream I’ve ever had. I would drive out of my way to go get it again!

Colin (the young guy working )made my kids day today when we stopped to get ice cream. My daughter wanted eyes for her ice cream and he said they did not have that but would make sure she got something else. He took a few extra moments to make a smiley face for her. Best experience we have had here so far! Thank you so much Colin for going above and beyond! We really appreciate you!

All we went here for was ice cream, but they have Velvet Ice Cream here.. I was happy to see that they do. It is amazing ice cream! So creamy and delicious! I got 1 scoop of Dutch Chocolate. My husband got 2 scoops. 1 was Moose Tracks (peanut butter, chocolate, and chocolate covered nuts), the 2nd was Buckeye (peanut butter and chocolate). The scoops were HUGE! The price VERY reasonable. $3.75 for 1 scoop or $4.50 for 2 scoops. We will definitely be back!

Waited to order and server refused to take order stating she was freaked out because someone was on the phone! Won’t try that place again!! My kids were highly disappointed not being able to get ice cream so I’ll give someone else our money for ice cream!

A large 5 dollar cup of vanilla looks like a small to medium.
I told them what I thought, and the girl smiled. I had to ask for a bag for my to-go order, and one of the girls said she’d go see if there was one in the back.
When I returned home, the center was hollow . My husband’s was the same he got the same thing. Both hollow.
I pass by this place nearly every day, but this is the first and last time I will stop here.
I also must say, I’ve had much better tasting soft serve ice cream.
So, there is no loss here except for the 10 dollars I wasted today.

Decided to being my toddler and baby to get ice cream today. Pulled in at 3:50 pm. Got both my kids out of their car seats go inside to 3 of the workers standing by the ice cream. They never acknowledged us there. Stood at the window for a minute waiting and then decided to leave due to feeling like they didn’t want to help us. Also it’s $6 for a shredded chicken….

We drove 30 mins to try a new dairy stand. When we arrived we were greeted if thats what you call it, by a sour face looking girl, and her manners were the same. We ordered hot dogs with coney sauce. She told us no, and we asked what she meant and she said they didn’t have any. When we finally got our hot dogs they were made incorrectly but ate them anyways. We ordered ice cream, and after a wait they told us it would be awhile because they were out of the chocolate soft serve and had to make more. In all this waiting just watching the interactions of these two girls with the customers I was shocked. So UNFRIENDLY and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am really suprised this place gets repeat business. Very disappointed for sure.

I moved to Mt Gilead in 1978. I’ve been going to this location since. Numerous owners. Always fair prices. This place is now outrageous! A medium vanilla cone was over $4 and I asked for a medium sprite and was charged $2 and handed a can of pop. No air conditioning. Workers were friendly and my party got smash burgers $5 fair price and they advised they were good. The ice cream prices are more than DQ. The medium looked like the McDonalds reg cone which is around 2$. Will not be back.
