On a warm day, we were looking for a cool treat. We drove to a nearby, familiar spot but found it was closed for the day. Still determined, we looked for another option and discovered The Sweet Spot. We are thankful to find this gem. There are so many great options, and the staff are friendly and helpful. All 8 people in my party give it a thumbs up and highly recommend The Sweet Spot!

Great place for a treat! Not only do they have outdoor seating provided, but they are also a drive-through! They also provide dairy-free options! We had a wonderful experience here and would definitely recommend:)

Great spot to stop in for a treat if you’re passing through. We stopped in because they had a free ice cream for people named Iris. Had to stop in with our Iris to get it. They have plenty of comfy seating or if you’re in a hurry they have a drive through as well.

Usually they are great. Today we order 4 things. 2 was banana splits. The first and only time we have tried them from there. The ice cream was milk. Not ice cream. The girl handed it to me and the melted ice cream went all over the ground. One girl said it was because the machine was used so much that the soft serve wasn’t freezing. Other girl said the hot fudge melted it. I’ve been to dairy Queen and never had that happened. I asked if she could make it again but with chocolate or something else. she said no. basically $5 for a banana and toppings.

Used to be my favorite place to get shaved ice until I received a grape shaved iced that was full of ants!! I emailed them about the issue and no response. Just wanted to help the next customer getting grape flavor , if you get shaved iced be aware !!

Ice cream was good but work environment seems very hostile. I literally saw someone get in trouble for sneezing. What if they have allergies oh my gosh! Whatever man works there definitely needs to tune it back. He just seemed so mean to his workers.

It’s a nice local establishment. They serve local ice cream as well as established brands. They have interesting recipes as well. Really nice folks. They can be pricey. I usually go about once a year, but then again I’m no longer a big ice cream guy, but I get my banana split fix then. The kids like the place.

Google hours say they are open until 10pm on Saturdays. We got there just after 9pm and got in the drive thru. A couple of employees came outside and talked about the cars in line. I thought I heard them say we were the last car to be served. I can’t be 100% certain, but I know they pointed at my car. We waited for them to serve the cars in front of us only to get to the window and be told that they were closed. I said that we’d been waiting in line for a while and I thought they pointed to us saying we were the last car. Their response was that it was the car in front of us and that we got in line after 9pm. I asked why they couldn’t have informed us if this when they were outside looking at the line and the girl said they were working inside. I was surprised at the poor customer service and attitude. I’d pay $10 for ice-cream to support a small business if the service was friendly. However, with the poor service and being completely inconsiderate of their customer’s time, I wouldn’t support this business again if they were giving ice cream away!
This was a great little spot in Madison Heights and I’m sad that it’s turned into what it is now.
