Sweet Praxis catered for our wedding September 2025. We had hand held desserts and they made our personal wedding cake. Everything was absolutely delicious and we received so many compliments from our guests! Meg and Jen were so sweet, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. We also love visiting the bakery on the weekends for a coffee drink and breakfast treat!!!

Sweet Praxis provided the cake for our May wedding reception. The cake was beautiful, delicious, and praised by the guests. They delivered the cake day-of without a hitch. Lemon cake with lemon buttercream and raspberry preserve and lemon curd fillings. They were able to provide sheet cakes in the same flavor so we could feed all the guests. We froze some, and it was still delicious several months later.

I’ve been here a handful of times, and each trip has been a great time. The food is delicious, with plenty of yummy vegan and gluten free options. The coffee drinks are good and they have rotating seasonal drinks too. The baked goods are incredible, and again they have options to accommodate vegans and folks with a gluten sensitivity. The vibes are also incredible, as the staff are warm and welcoming and the decor is bright and well thought out.

The Sweet Praxis did a variety of desserts for my wedding (brioche donuts, truffles, cupcakes, cheesecake). While I didn’t work with anyone directly (only over email), my guests enjoyed the desserts. They were helpful in creating what I had in mind for the way I wanted my cupcakes to look.

At our wedding, our photographer said that my expression upon seeing our dessert table was almost better than walking down the aisle! That should tell you something about The Sweet Praxis. I knew what Natalie created would be delicious and beautiful. But I was completely unprepared for the sight that was waiting for me at our reception! For a day that was quickly flying by, I spent far too long lingering at the table, trying to savor the sight of those artistic confections. I couldn’t believe how fortunate we were. Each one was beautiful in its own way – the colors, textures, and flavors each expertly balanced. All decorated with delicate, elegant edible flowers! Quite literally one of the highlights of the whole day. Now, when the topic of the wedding resurfaces, it is often because people are reminiscing on those delectable treats. Natalie very kindly worked with us to incorporate our family’s traditions and preferences. She flawlessly brought our unique vision to life. I will never forget what she did for us, and only wish I could bottle up that experience and keep it forever!

Ridiculously good pastries and baked goods. Both regular and gluten free or vegan. I secretly gave my BF a vegan donut and he said it was one of the best donuts he’s had. He still stands by that after learning it was vegan lol! Really good and creative coffee dinks and super nice and friendly staff. Do yourself a favor and go here!

Quality used to be better. I still recommend this place as the best vegan and gluten free bakery in Syracuse. However, I feel lately the pastries are more salty than sweet and I can’t help but feel foolish trying to tip well only to end up with a burnt sandwich and a tiny salad with only rotten leaves. Super disappointing from my favorite spot in town. Since money is so tight lately I’m considering never going back. Truely, I am heartbroken.

As someone who is gluten free, I was so excited to try this place. The dessert options were great but I was super disappointed in the bread for the breakfast sandwiches. It was a good size but was rock hard and so burnt it was black. If you just want a drink and a dessert then it’s a great choice but I would avoid for a gf breakfast.

We used our favorite local bakery for a completely gluten-free dessert spread for our wedding in August, and every dessert was amazing! Our guests loved the maple donuts in particular, and the wedding cake they did for us was spectacularly designed! Thank you for making our day even more special!
