The food is where this restaurant truly shines. Every dish was well-seasoned, served in generous portions, and clearly prepared with care. While there’s a bit of a wait for the food to be served, the quality and taste made it worth the wait.

We ordered the following:
• Salmon Salad: The salmon was fresh and tender, with just the right amount of creamy mayonnaise to balance the flavor.
• Gyoza: not your typical bite-sized pieces. They were moist, flavorful, and had that authentic taste you’d expect from a Japanese restaurant .
• Pork Katsudon: The pork was crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside, served on a bed of steamed rice and topped with sautéed onions and a sweet-savory donburi sauce.
• Takoyaki: Each ball had a good amount of octopus—no filler overload here. The seasoning was spot on, and the mayo drizzle and bonito flakes tied it all together beautifully.

The restaurant gives off an authentic Japanese dining vibe, complete with traditional low tables where you sit on the floor. However, the room smelled strongly of food. Improving ventilation perhaps with added exhaust vents and better lighting might enhance comfort.

Parking is spacious, however, the restaurant’s popularity means you’ll likely face a wait during peak hours. In fact, they had to add extra tables that somewhat disrupted the Japanese layout and ambiance. I recommend visiting earlier than peak times to fully enjoy the intended atmosphere.

We ate here at dinner around 6:00 pm but few minutes later, the place got really packed on a Sunday night even though they are hidden. The place can accommodate around 20-30 pax approximately.

I would say this is one of the most affordable and value for money Japanese Restaurant in Malolos.

One of the most noticeable positive note is the serving time, very fast and the food is served hot. They have a parking around 7 cars only so I would say it’s best to go here during off hours or just ride a motorcycle to avoid hassle.

I ordered the Katsu Curry and I would say that this definitely needs improvement as the curry is very runny but taste wise it is good. But the sushi’s and the ramen are worth trying as the broth is very rich in flavor!

Definitely worth going back!

Authenticity: 3/5
Toppings: 2/5
Price and Portion: 4/5

The sushi, karaage and takoyaki is generally salty, Ramen noodles is good and firm but the broth is not so much authentic. But the food is affordable.

The food is delicious and definitely worth the price. The taste is superb—just like authentic Japanese cuisine! I’m definitely coming back for more. Medio maliit lang ang place pero laging maraming tao.

I love their philly sushi. Their rice meals are nice too. Didn’t think the restaurant was as roomy or as aesthetic as the pics on google maps cause i’d always order deliveries and was surprised dining there is way, way cheaper than getting deliveries. Nice that they have a couple parking spots outside and the staff was pleasant as expected. Def my new favorite now.

Food&Service Review
The food here is affordable and tasty, but the customer service is extremely disappointing, honestly the worst I’ve experienced in Malolos. As someone who has worked in customer service for years, I know how important it is to get the basics right, and sadly this place fails at that.

This isn’t even my first bad experience. When I ordered online a while back, I found a hair in the food. I messaged the page, and though the message was seen by the moderator, no one ever replied. I decided to give the restaurant another chance by visiting the physical store, but it turned out even worse.

Upon entering, no one assisted us with the seating or explained the so-called “line for tables.” Water was served late, and when our sushi arrived, we had to wait almost five minutes just to get simple saucers. These are small details, but they leave a big impact.

Some suggestions that could really help improve your service:
W – Welcome guests properly.
A – Assist customers (especially with seating or lining up).
T – Timely provide essentials like water (a basic need).
S – Serve food with complete utensils/plates in advance.

On top of that, servers often responded with “for a while po” in a dismissive tone. I understand the pressure of a rush, but tone and attentiveness matter. Customers can be patient, but only up to a point. With better organization from preparation to service to bussing out, the whole dining experience could improve dramatically.

It’s such a waste (“sayang”), because the food really does have potential. But poor customer service can make people like me and many others never want to come back.

Bang for the buck Japanese food. Just always be mindful that they are full during weekends and Friday evening… That is how good and affordable their food is.
