The surf shack is such a hidden gem. The drinks are strong and taste good and the service is superior. Great spot to hang with friends or family especially if you’re staying at 935 Ocean Hotel as well. The food/snacks are affordable but taste delicious. The manager Chris treated us like royalty! Definitely check this place out when you’re in Hampton as it’s also a 30 second walk to the beach!

If your looking for a fun but low key beach vibe.. this is it! The live music is great, drink prices are reasonable and the outdoor atmosphere is one of a kind. We did the 2 for $30 lobster rolls and they were legit.. Warm butter to pour on top was perfect. Our kids loved the hot dogs, guac/chips and soft pretzels ..all amazing. Plenty of seating and quick service. Overall, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s the perfect spot to catch some tunes, grab a bite and unwind!!

Great food, great service. We had fun here! When we arrived a squall totally drenched everything because it’s an outside venue, but there was a huge tent everyone took shelter in and when the storm was over the staff handed out towels and the band eventually came out and played a few songs. Very nice time.

What a great addition to Hampton North Beach! Don’t give place a miss if you’re in the area. Free parking too 🙂 They have great lobster rolls and signature cocktails. Everyone is super nice too.
We called ahead to ask about gluten free rolls and they had run out the previous night but asked if we could wait an hour they would send out for them…oh my goodness! This will definitely be our go to for a local business!
Check out their live music Friday and Saturday nights – weather permitting. A fire pit, corn hole boards and a large outdoor screen for watching your favorite sports too.

Hi All, had my birthday celebration with 50 guests under the tent at 935 Surf Shack last week. The party was catered by Victoria’s Kitchen in Hampton. Great food and great people. Chris and his staff did a great job from start to finish. Happy people who are happy to see you. We had a dedicated bar for our group. Stefan did a great job keeping things moving and made every cocktail to perfection. If you are looking to hold an outdoor event in Hampton, I highly recommend The Surf Shack. It is the newest and coolest place on Hampton Beach with a great vibe. If you are not having an event come enjoy the food, drinks, live music, fire pits and the friendly staff and patrons.

Loved the atmosphere, but was very disappointed in my cocktail. Paid $14 for a Pain Killer. A tiny plastic cup loaded up with ice. Lasted me a few minutes. I live locally, and frequent North Beach, hoping to give it another try.
