We are a local family owned and operated Ice Cream Shop. We make homemade hard Ice Cream and Italian Ice and other sweets. We also make fresh squeezed Lemonades and Bubble Waffles! I would like to start out by saying, I’m rarely in the mood for ice cream but that will probably change now that I’ve tried ice cream from The Sugar Shack. My wife and sons and I dropped by the shop on our way home this evening and I feel compelled to share my wonderful experience with the world! I loved everything about this place… The owners were incredibly sweet, the ice cream was homemade and delicious, the shop was clean and inviting, and the prices were much lower than the other ice cream places we’ve visited in the area. If you are in the mood for an awesome ice cream experience, or even if you’re not, give this place a try. They also serve soups, salads, and more and if their food is as good as the ice cream, this will be our new favorite hangout. We’re already looking forward to our lunch date at The Sugar Shack this week!

We absolutely love this place! They have amazing sandwiches and soup and their Italian ice and ice cream are the best in town! We have a hard time staying away, if you are in West Monroe you have got to stop by even if it is simply to get a flavored tea or lemonade! I cannot praise this place enough!
