My long time friend and I came in with an open mind, genuinely wanting to support a local business and spend our hard earned money locally, but the experience was incredibly disappointing.
The drinks were overpriced, the bathrooms were unclean, and the staff carried an unnecessary attitude from the moment we interacted with them. When customers are choosing to spend their hard earned money at your establishment, the bare minimum expectation is professionalism and basic courtesy.
Around 1:30 AM, despite advertising a 2:00 AM closing time, we were abruptly told to leave. Our Uber was already on the way and only minutes from arrival. There were still patrons inside the bar, yet we were singled out and rushed out in a way that felt targeted. When I explained that our group included only young woman amongst multiple older men that being pushed outside early felt uncomfortable and intimidating, the bouncer responded, “Not my problem. I’m a nice guy before 1:30 AM.”
That response alone reflects the culture.
I understand staff want to go home on time. That’s fair. But if you advertise a 2:00 AM close, you cannot begin acting hostile at 1:30 while other patrons remain inside, especially when someone is waiting on transportation.
It’s disappointing to see lazy, dismissive service paired with attitude toward the very people supporting the business. With that kind of treatment, it’s no surprise many local establishments struggle. I genuinely hope management reevaluates the culture and customer service approach, because experiences like this make it hard to justify returning.

My husband and his friends have frequently visited this place after work for some down time. Also after track meets. I myself have attended with my husband during seafood Sundays. I loved ordering the crableg tray, along with the shrimp scampi tray. During warm weather months, I have enjoyed sitting outside under the gazebo while eating their seafood selections. Atmosphere, the people, food is great. Taylor is a great, and attentive bartender. Daily food specials besides what’s on the main menu. Sundays during football season, seafood (crab legs, mussels, etc). The prices are extremely fair, far from expensive even if you do get good. Will definitely be visiting again.

Popped in on a Thursday lunch time. There is plenty of bar seating and a few tables in the back. Decent selection of tap beers. There is a large refrigerator with bottled and canned drinks for you to choice also. Server was very friendly and attentive even though she was prepping things for the day. They have daily food specials for $6 which are a good deal. We tried 3 of them and they were all fairly good and large for the price. Other than my group there were only 4 other people so I can’t say much about the environment but I assume that it picks up with more patrons.

It’s a great local place to have fun. We celebrated birthday of a friend there. The owner and staff are amazing ppl, kind, were asking us a lot of questions and were so helpful entire time from planning to preparation to party There are a lot of games so all guests had a lot of fun and were busy playing all the night. I will definitely come back here! Thank you to owner for helping with this beautiful party!

Service is super fast! Dana(i think) and a guy (didn’t get his name ) were fast and friendly. Food is AMAZING get the fries they are so good. They were pretty busy and we didn’t wait at all for anything, they also have a great outdoor space. Thanks for a really fun night!!!! We will definitely be back for Monday bike night.

Tried this place on a whim, Bartender (Amanda) was very nice and attentive. Nice size bar, one pool table, good music (jukebox) TV’s and outside seating. The food was good. FYI the bar is right next to NJ transit train station (Anderson St)
