I have driven by this place so many times. We finally stopped today and wow. The owner Charlie and the cook were just the nicest people ever. Burgers were the best I’ve had in a long time, very juicy. They remodeled it and it’s a really nice bar!! It’s a MUST see!!

I had never been to the straight 8 before and was passing through when we decided to stop. The bartender Coop was amazing. We got a few drinks and a snack. Honestly I would love to come back to see him for the wonderful time he provides. So glad to see this place doing well with GREAT staff. 5/5 impressed.

Stopped here on a whim and loved it! The bartender, Coop, was so personable and created a great atmosphere! Some of the other patrons were a tan rowdy but Coop handled it very well! Will come again!

We’ve been driving by this bar for 20+ years and never stopped in. I wanted to but never did. Today, 7/2/23 was the day. There were a few cars in the lot with maybe 10 people at the bar. I believe we met the new owner, Charlie. Anyways, we ordered a couple of beers, burgers, and an order of cheese curds. Holy cow! The burgers were huge! Same for the order of cheese curds. Pair that with double up for a buck on domestic beers and rail drinks from 3 to 5 on a weekend… Ooo we that’s a hell of a deal! Our entire ticket was $45. The straight 8 has earned a spot in our weekly rotation for sure.

Seating was not great. We were there on June 26th. You need to have space between the row of chairs and the wall on the end. If you serve food then the bartender should offer a menu.
