This is a very busy and popular and busy brunch place. It is known for their chicken fried steak. It was excellent and crunchy and not overwhelming with the gravy. I had the prime rib hash which was decent with the seasoned hash prime rib bits with potatoes underneath with an egg your style.
The staff was very nice and attentive and service was good and the pies looked delicious but I didn’t have enough stomach. The atmosphere was lively brunch and the place was bustling. It can be a little cramped but it’s cozy and cute.

Stopped by for breakfast and had a great experience. Service was quick, staff was friendly, and the cozy ambiance made it a nice spot to start the day. The food was tasty and satisfying, and they have free parking which is always a plus. It’s located a little away from the main downtown, but definitely worth the short drive.

Carmen and Freddy are the most amazing servers. I call them friends. Now, let’s talk about the amazing food. The breakfasts are truly epic. It is so filling for a great day in Mammoth Lakes!!! The pies too are homemade and mouth watering. Eat here and you will always want to make it a stop when you visit Mammoth.

We arrived at 7:30 on a Sunday morning to find the place bustling with business, always a good sign! After looking at the menu and reviews I decided I had to try the French toast which I could only describe as amazing. Slightly crispy exterior perfectly cooked interior nothing could Make it any better hands down probably the best French toast I’ve ever had! My wife got a patty melt and onion rings and while I can’t speak for the patty melt gun rings were also amazing and probably some of the best I’ve ever had. From the staff of front to the waiters and bussers everybody was happy to help and their service was great. Will return anytime I’m in Mammoth.

Obviously the go to place in town to eat. One part tradition one part good breakfast. I get my young kids to eat the egg/bacon/pancake from kids menu. I recommend the steak and egg hash – super tasty. Good coffee. Kids menus and crayons available.

They have an amazing vegan option: get the veggie burger with no mayo, and replace with cucumber and spinach. I also got fruit and textured vegan protein sauteed (they called it tofu crumble or something but it’s TVP). Incredibly tasty
To the owners: I hope you can add the tofu crumble to the menu as I found out it was available only when I asked the server. Label it as textured vegan protein.

Wonderful home cooking. Really enjoyed my French dip sandwich. Great big portions, country decor, friendly staff. Warm atmosphere and good food I would recommend for any meal. Also stay for the pie it really hits the spot.

If you want a tasty meal at good prices in Mammoth, this place won’t disappoint. The atmosphere has a diner feel to it, so I wouldn’t choose it for the atmosphere. Thw portions are excellent, too.
