They had A bunch of cool and unique lattes to choose from, and a ton of really cool locally sourced items. Seems to be a cool family run shop, I was very pleased with my first visit. Their banana bread latte is so good that they were out of the ingredients to make it, but I don’t mind the excuse to go back next weekend

SO CUTE!! I went here with a $10 gift card and left leaving I had a $100 one. So many things to look at, so much variety and fantastic local brands. Me and my boyfriend were able to get two Chai lattes for $10 and swore we’d have to return soon.

This is my new place for coffee…walked in to kill some time waiting for restaurant across the street to open and discovered world-wide whole-bean organic coffee…not much for the other stuff, but I’m not a wine, gifts person…but I’ll be back for more coffee!! Service could be better, guy behind counter walked off to let person in back of store ring me up…that was weird…

Went here all the time while we attended UMaine. Our weekend treat was to go on a Friday afternoon and get a few fancy craft sodas to enjoy over the weekend. On snow days we went in the morning for fresh donuts and hot cocoa. It was nice to always see Roberta in there. I hope we get to return there someday.

I love and appreciate this store and the owners/employees. They’re super friendly and easy going. Firstly, just want to say they make the best lattes around. The salty turtle nut latte warms my soul. They have a great selection of wine, gifts, cheese, homemade bread and pastries. Local jewelry, gifts, clothes, knickknacks, kitchen items, candy. The list goes on. The prices are fair and I always end up leaving with a bag full of stuff that I would have ended up going to hannaford for later.

This is a cute little shop with a variety of grocery, beer, wine, and gift supplies. The owner is super friendly. The grocery selection is limited, but adequate and seems to be of good quality. I’ll be back.

Really nice little General store with coffee, baked goods, candy, housewares, and lots of local products. We stopped and had a cup of coffee and the kids played chess for about 40 minutes. It was a very nice unhurried morning. and the folks running the place is quite nice as well. I would definitely come back next time I’m in Maine.

This place has been my go-to place for coffee, wine and gifts since I moved to the area in 2013. From high school to graduate school Ampersand has always been such a comforting hometown spot that I highly recommend to anyone! The espresso drinks and pastries have my heart- SO GOOD!
