I’ll preface this review with The Stonehouse seems like a fun place to drink and hang out. I’ve never been here before , maybe their other food is good. I came here solely for the pizza. I actually drove out of my way to get this pizza solely based off of NEPA Pizza Reviews raving review. Not saying Jim is wrong, but my pizza certainly didn’t look like his. To call this “pan fried Sicilian “ like you would get at Pizza Loven or Victory Pig is 100% inaccurate. At least the pizza I received. The sauce with onions was actually very good and the cheese blend was also good. But my dough was absolutely not fried in any way. It was crispy from the pan, but not in any way like what you’d get in Luzerne County. Very disappointing. I had high hopes. Again, seems like a good place overall but if I’m gonna go out of my way for pan fried pizza, I won’t be coming back here.

The food was good, I got a chicken Caesar salad, and my husband got a cheese steak. Our food was very good. The waitress was very nice and good service. There was a band playing very loud and it was a small space, not too much seating and the bathroom was very dirty and the toilet didn’t flush

A good time is a short way to put my experience here. Pretty packed full of people, and a man playing a guitar and singing country songs. Just a load of people enjoying themselves, and it was infectious.

Great food/service accompanied with an adequate selection of alcohol. Cool outdoor patio, so when the weather is nice this is a great place to hangout. The chicken cheesesteak is very good and i highly recommend the hand cut fries.

I would recommend this place for the music and setting. It’s located in a rural area surrounded by trees. The building is built in stone and appears it could of been a stagecoach stop in it past.

First time here, love this place. Food took a bit to come out but it was fabulous. The boneless wings were all meat! Not all breading and grizzle, you get big chunks of white meat. The burger was awesome! They have cold beer and some craft beer. Bar service was quick, friendly and attentive. You don’t sit and wait for them to notice you, great service. The decor inside is very very nice, clean restrooms. There is a huge outside area as well. This is a must stop,we will definitely be going back again.

Have been here several times and it never disappoints us. Our trips here have been for lunch and it always is great! Service is very good and prompt. the folks here are friendly and always take time to answer any questions you have about the menu items, beer selections, specials or any other general questions. They always make you feel right at home. The Stonehouse has a nice layout and large outdoor patio area for gathering. We had Mac and Cheese Bites, Loaded Nachos, BAM Burger(You must try this!!)on our last visit. Will keep coming back!

I hate to give it such a low rating. The people were friendly, the food tasted good, and it’s an interesting ambiance. However waiting 2 hours for your food is a bit much. Unfortunately i can’t give it more than 2 stars with that reality
