The staff were super friendly and got out food out quickly! Would go to this place again and recommend others give it a try too!
3 out of 4 plates we got were delicious. The kids steak plate not so much….steak was overcooked and my lil one couldn’t even chew it.
New ownership, since I visited few years back and new menu keeping few item from previous menu deliciousness.
The place is well kept and clean.
The staff is super nice, quick service and portions are really good.
Spacious, parking right at the front. They offered take outs. Family friendly environment.
Clean restroom.

That Brisket was a homerun, the flavor was amazing it was juicy & had sweet caramelized oniony taste to & not overpowering. The Mac was good but better than most places I’ve been to. The potato salad was homemade & not that store bought stuff either. Hands down coming back to try something else… Also sorry didn’t get a food photo but was to good to put it down.
The service was prompt and friendly.
We started with the Meat Candy (think Burnt Ends). Burnt Ends are one of my can’t resist foods. These were very good. (Much better than Westwoods, which now that I said that, that’s a pretty low bar. W.W. really is consistently the worst I’ve had anywhere—I have no idea why I continue to order them there. A hope for improvement? Glutton for punishment? Ha…Only history will know.) Tonight’s were good enough that I’d favorably compare them to any of the many Texas BBQ joints I’ve enjoyed over the years. Right up there with them all. And, a really nice quantity of them in the serving.
I opted for the rib plate with the Deep Fried Green Beans and the Bacon Mac & Cheese sides. The ribs were a fair size. I usually like my smoked ribs dry, but I went ahead and didn’t change the order. The sauce is a bit more “tomato-ey” than I normally enjoy. But after the first rib, I really enjoyed it. The beans and Mac & Cheese were flavorful too.
My wife had planned to get the brisket platter. The server said it wasn’t available tonight because the brisket came out dry, but a brisket sandwich was available because they chopped up the brisket to prepare it for sandwiches. This is NOT a negative thing. Briskets can sometimes by fickle—even for professional chefs. The sandwich was delicious. Kudos to the chef for holding to a high standard and knowing how to adjust. She got a side of the Brussel Sprouts. My wife has a very similar recipe and they are delicious. I’d like to say tonight’s were better, but come on, she’s my wife….
Is this the absolute best BBQ I’ve ever had? No. Sorry, the small towns in Texas are where I’ve found those. For Sanger, Calif.? Awesome! All in all, a very good meal and we’ll try it again.
