I have been coming to this restaurant for over 25 years. Even with new owners, not much has changed, which I’m happy with. The buffet is great. Food was delicious and they kept it well stocked. Plenty of entrees to choose from with a full salad and dessert bar. Plenty of seating and rooms available for private parties or business gatherings.

Love this place, my family and I go here weekly. Fresh food and drinks, atmosphere is always pleasant as well as staff. I really like the older gentleman manager, I’ll update when I figure out his name, he is not the one with tattoos. He personally came to my table to check on us because we had a complaint with the guy who had tattoos on his arms, (on a previous visit, we had all over cooked sirloin tips til they were hard and we’ll done, they were supposed to be medium rare, that manager didn’t even care and we didn’t want to wait for our food to get cooked again and end up staying even longer, we are busy people, let’s get real, who wants to wait another 30 minutes or so for them to recook your food, he didn’t even offer a discount or anything and we tip good, 10 dollars and sometimes even more and are regulars. Other then this incident, everything usually is fast and pleasant, waitresses are always great and helpful, very accommodating. I was personally really impressed with the older gentleman manager who came to our table to ask us how we are doing, that was very thoughtful and professional, made us feel like he honestly cared and wanted to fix our previous visit.

Great homemade tasting buffet. Not a Golden Coral kind of selection, but good enough. Especially for the price.
The only thing(s) I didn’t care for were chicken & dumplings, which were straight out of can and brownies were very dry.
Great service.
Edit: I went there a few weeks later and EVERYTHING was out of the can. Well, maybe except for the pies. Very disappointing.

This place is old & run down but MAN THE FOOD & STEAK DELICIOUS!! their buffet looked fresh and clean. Our server was Christina and she was very personable and we never had an empty glass. We took a risk by stopping here and it was worth it!!

They have the best country fried steak, and fried chicken recipes around. Their yeast rolls and desert bar are great. Several people keep their food bars very clean. The staff in this place are very friendly, kind and helpful. Our family always enjoys eating here, and we look forward to our visits here.

Stopped there after a long day at Gainesville, VA hospital. The greeting from customer service was great. All of the workers were very friendly. Great atmosphere and the food bar is very clean, organized and oh so delicious.

I used to eat here quite often, but service has been horrible the last few times. No silverware given after my food was sitting on my table getting cold. I even had to get up to get my own drink on several occasions. I’m not going to be eating here anymore. Food quality has declined. I could deal with that if service was great but definitely not what the Steakhouse has been known for.

This trip couple weeks ago now was actually the best buffet I’ve had here. The steak was tender and all the sides were fresh. Clam strips tasted a lil old, but overall the buffet was very good.

Visited there today our waitress was good. That is why the two stars. There where three types of chicken, dried ribs and some very well done looking pulled pork. I had the meatballs which they had no pasta to go with. I loaded up on veggies. The dessert bar was not great for me sense I have always enjoyed their bread pudding with ice cream in top. Today the bread pudding was burnt. I could not understand how they could even put that out on the bar looking so burnt on top. This place has gotten progressively worse each time we go. We will not be returning. To bad it is the only buffet of that type in town.

Great place that has been popular locally for many years. Staff is friendly and polite, place is clean and the food is good. At ten dollars per person, the buffet is a good selection of southern style foods. Sirloin tips are the best seller and most recommended.
