The food was on point! Made to order, fresh, flavorful, and made with experience! Our server was very pleasant, attentive, and warm.
Ok, so we went back the next day for Sunday lunch. Today I had the ribeye, medium. It was a little tough, but I ate it. The cabbage was lightly seasoned and tasted very clean and refreshing. The macaroni and cheese was made from scratch (thank you).My favorite side dish is the fried okra. I got to get a little lasagna off my husband’s plate (delicious) and next time I may try the gorgeous fried chicken. Check out the additional photos.

Typical BBQ joint that serves daily blue plate specials. I had the chicken tips over rice with two vegetables. Not overly seasoned but plenty of taste. The wait staff was on the spot and friendly but not too friendly. The only bad thing was the meal was so big that I didn’t have room for dessert. I will definitely be stopping by the next time I’m in the area.

This is a great stop for lunch. Quick eats on the go. I had the country steak and gravy. It was well seasoned, and there was too much food to go back to work comfortably. But that’s not a bad thing. The waitress was attentive to my needs and was friendly.

I stopped by on my way home from an appointment. I always try to stop at the mom and pop shops around wherever I’m traveling for work. This place was great! My waitress was nice and had great southern charm and the food was amazing. The Mac and cheese was cheesy and the ribs were super tender. The banana pudding was really good as well, I could tell they had put fresh cookies in it. Next time I’m in Mt Holly for work I will definitely stop by again.

This place is amazing, I just came in from out of state and found this amazing little place. The BBQ here was so good I left with a happy stomach. If you are looking for some good back home BBQ come by this place. Also the staff was amazing, thanks for the great experience.

While driving around the Charlotte area, I’m always on the look out for down home country cooking. The staff was nice and attentive. Atmosphere is laid back and approachable. The food came out quick and was very tasty. I ordered the chicken & dumplings.

The atmosphere may not be anything special, but the effort they put into each of their dishes is beyond impressive. The menu may seem a bit all over the place, but there isn’t a single dish we haven’t loved. Major bang for your buck when on this side of town.

The Pulled Pork Plate was terrible! Tasted like two week old leftovers! The only thing on the plate I could even stomach was the tater tots. Won’t be back to Billy’s.
