The service was wonderful. The second we walked it a kind woman was explaining how to menus worked and was very welcoming. So was everyone we interacted with. The environment is also great. Clean, creative idea, reminded me of an upscale mall foodcourt. Games in the back for kids. Wonderful seating, even a coffee shop which would be lovely to read and do homework/work-work in them. A bar and TV’s as well, a very dynamic space and I praise the owners for creating something interesting for our city. The food was also all plated very nicely which I’m a sucker for.
Did not like: I was sort of disappointed with the menus themselves. I would love to see the Italian menu have a sort of pasta dish and was disappointed it didn’t, especially since there are very few places to get a good pasta in this city. I got a crispy shrimp bowl and my husband got a burger/fries and donuts. My shrimp bowl had wayyy too much pickled-vegetable taste between the cucumber and the onion, It was overwhelming the rest of the flavors making it potent sour dish and I couldn’t finish it. The burger was good, the fries were clearly fresh cut and tasted like an actual potato which I appreciated but could use a little more seasoning. The donuts were very dry, almost stale or too airy of a dough.
I will be coming again, I love the idea of this place and what it’s trying to execute as well as the kind employees. I believe the menus items could use some revising/tweaking and although it looked great, I wouldn’t get the shrimp bowl again.
⭐ We had the burger & fries, meatball sub, mango mochi, churros w/ Carmel drizzle, chips and salsa & Bulgogi bowl & 3 sodas for $66.
My bulgogi bowl was a little bit too salty & had shredded beef instead of chopped (not bad just my personal preferences) it has a little heat & the cucumbers were a nice addition. The meatball sub was very flavourful & the bread was fresh & soft. Everything was great quality.
The portion-to-price ratio seems slightly off for a few menu items that we saw & ordered but they do use quality ingredients.
It is family & adult friendly with a casual but classy food court/brew pub feel.
You can mix & match all menus on one order. Items come out at different times. You get a text when an item is ready & you go to that kitchen window to pick it up. Wait time was not an issue at all! They are quick & the plating is simple, clean & nicely done
The arcade area has games that are free to play & seating areas.
There’s plenty of different seating choices both up and down stairs with Lounge area, bar or table options. It’s clean, open & bright with a nice view of the river.
overall it was great! It’s so refreshing to have something new. It’s nice to have options for everyone in one place. We love the concept & look forward to going again very soon.
The atmosphere is chill but well decorated and designed. I appreciate the area designated for kids. It feels separate enough to not bother guests without kids but easy access for those with/keeping an eye on kids.
I am hoping they add more ordering kiosks(maybe one outside in summer?)/an order online option with time. Looking forward to walking our dog in the park and stopping by for a meal after so having those would make it even easier!
I do agree with the comment about having water more easily accessible or an option to just refill your own bottle like the gym/parks have.
I think the only thing I would suggest is to add maybe one or two specialty drinks to the coffee menu to switch it up.
*Twice they’ve had computer issues but were actively resolving them. As someone who has worked/opened small businesses before that is the worst part and not something I’m going to hold against them since they literally just opened*
I would definitely visit again for the cheesesteak alone. Not to mention they offer a beautiful view of the Missouri River from the dog friendly back patio. There was even a dog water bowl conveniently waiting at the table we chose! So nice!
I highly recommend checking this place out. My only complaint would be that I think they should be open past 9pm at least on the weekends!
Cost over $60 for three people and only two drinks. I tipped but not sure why, we order from a screen and clean up after ourselves. It would be a really neat place if it was a real restaurant with good food. They have the atmosphere, noisy but really neat.
