So this was my first time in Bourbon Indiana. Neat little town and obviously my first time trying ice cream atThe Standard! Amazing little ice cream shop with a HomeTown feel and the ice cream was simply perfect! I wanted to try a couple different ones but I went with my typical, strawberry! I’m not an antique sky but there’s a little side to the store with antique in it as well. Definitely stop in and give it a try.

Great ice cream, had chocolate – Hersheys, so what would you expect? The cupcakes are fantastic! Homey with a friendly small town feel, makes me think of a soda fountain from times ago. Have some good historic and antique stuff too. Got a nice antique phone with hand cranked ringer.

This business is a MUST when traveling through Bourbon, Indiana. They have treasures to sweeten the finders keepers aspect of everyone’s life with the unique antiques available. That sweet-tooth has finally met its calm with the top tasty treats made daily. I recommend getting one for each day of the week once per week as the quality isn’t found in local stores and you’ll want to stock up. Be careful sharing as you might regret not getting plenty for yourself later
Super thankful for all of the cakes, antique finds, and the random yummy treats we’ve found ready in the case over the years!
The Best- Store, Products, and People!! Literally, my favorite. Highly Recommend!

Jeff and his wife are sweethearts. They put their hearts into their business. This place should be a “must stop” if you are traveling on 30.

I always have a great experience when I come here, ice cream is great but the last time we went the man I presume to be the owner served us, he’s a nice guy, but before he served us he wiped and rubbed his wet nose in a random rag that was laying on the counter. I assumed he was going to wash his hands right after before serving our ice cream but he didnt. Jus put the rag down and asked us what we wanted. I was grossed out after that and haven’t been back since. I’m just a germ freak although he’s always nice I thought that was a little nasty and unprofessional BUT minus that experience the place is cool the ice cream is great and the girls that work there are always fantastic.

Amazing ice cream, coffee, and company.
I personally love the ice cream that has too many alliterated B’s (it’s something to do with Brownies), the Oatmeal cookie ice cream, and/or the Pumpkin one (likely seasonal). You can’t go wrong with any of their ice cream or the sweets/sodas offered on the far end of the counter.
I love the Cast Iron Roaster’s coffee. It has become one of my favorite brands and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who loves flavored coffees, who doesn’t? They also offer decaf in case that’s your thing. My favorite is either Blue Yonder, or the Carmel Rum flavored one.
