MUST TRY! Let me start by saying, I don’t typically leave reviews unless it’s either really bad or really good so you know this is a good review!

After spending some time trying to decide what to get for lunch, my boyfriend showed me pictures of The Stand and their reviews and I actually declined going here because I didn’t think it looked great. I then proceeded to pick an alternative, we pulled up and I immediately changed my mind because it didn’t look great and said screw it let’s try The Stand and let me say, I am SO GLAD we did. It was delicious. For the prices, you get your moneys worth. I got chips and salsa (their salsa is DELICIOUS and i’m mad i didn’t buy a pint of it to take home) and Plate #8 with pork carnitas. My man got 1 shredded beef taco (which was massive, for example he states 1 of the stands tacos is easily equal to 2 from any other taco stand) and takis nachos with shredded beef. We absolutely devoured our meals and were glad to take the rest in to go boxes. We will definitely be back when we visit the area again! If you’re unwise like me and don’t think this place looks good at first, you’re wrong. Just go try it it’s bomb. ⭐️

*taco not pictured because it was devoured within minutes of being brought to our table*

I visited on Wednesday, Jan 14th. It’s a nice, small spot at the end of the strip. The inside was clean and quiet, though the parking lot is a bit tight.
The food took a noticeable amount of time to come out, which I generally don’t mind if the quality is there. I ordered the Takis Burrito and added Carne Asada (about $18).
The flavor was actually really good, and the carne asada was a solid addition. However, the execution was a little off. The kitchen stacked all the Takis on one side of the burrito rather than distributing them evenly. It made for an inconsistent experience where some bites were overwhelmingly crunchy/flavorful while the rest lacked that texture.
Despite the uneven build, the flavors were good enough that I would still eat here again. 3.5/5.

Amazingly tasty food! Big portions! Me and my bf visited from Seattle to spend my birthday week. He loves Mexican food and said this is the best tacos he has ever had as someone who religiously loves tacos and trying different Mexican restaurants and would come back just for this! I got the shredded beef enchiladas plate with a side of carne asada tacos and he got chicken and carne tacos.

For the most part, I love this place. But every single time I get the asada there, I am let down. Super tough and I have to spit out each bite because it’s filled with tough fat. Honestly irritates me so much. It’s like just cut the meat without the fat please can you. EVERY SINGLE TIME I GO I KNOW I’M GOING TO LIKE THE FLAVOR, BUT HAVE TO SPIT HALF MY FOOD OUT THANKS TO THE FATTY STEAK

This place really is something special. The salsa is more like a pico and it’s so good! The portions are really big so order accordingly (these are not small street tacos. Easily 4-5oz of meat per taco). We loved the carne asada and pork carnitas for tacos or burritos. We’ve done a lot of Mexican in Seaside and while there are several good options, The Stand is the best.

Came here at the recommendation of a buddy. The burrito I had was really good. Fresh made, delicious, and a generous portion. Happily would return here again. Staff was moderately friendly, the building is old and moderately clean.

We were looking for a bite on our way home from vacation in Seaside OR. We found this little gem heading out of town on HWY 101. The one man show “dude” who took our order at the counter was very friendly, and helpful with food selection. He also had excellent customer service skills. Offered us a high chair for baby, extra sauces and napkins! The food was some of the BEST ever! My daughter said it was the best enchilada she’s ever had! As we were leaving we told the dude how good the food and service was and he says thank you, I’ll tell my dad he’s in the kitchen cooking! Even better, a family owned business. Definitely a must try!

We’ll be back, see ya’ll next year!

The portion was actually pretty big for $16. Very calm atmosphere and will visit again when I come back to seaside. Only thing I wish they would add is agua frescas!

Got the Spicy Vegan burrito, beans and rice, and veggie tacos. The grilled veggies were SO good. Our vegan family left full and happy. Service was great and the vibe was nice.

Great atmosphere and service! Food is a solid 3/5. Great taste just super dry carne asada and fatty meat. So if you’re into that! Haha!
Employees are awesome. Bathroom is clean and so is the store
