A warm welcome greets everyone whether eating in-house or buying a takeaway. The staff are attentive and welcoming and service is quite prompt. The restaurant is very pleasant and comfortable with views across the countryside. There is very good comprehensive Bangladeshi menu with other items for varied tastes eg vegetarian. All the dishes I have tried are delicious and well presented and very reasonably priced. There is a good selection of drinks both soft and alcoholic. A good test of their quality is that they are frequented by local people. I have been a regular for many years and heartily recommend the Spice of Bengal.

Popped in to get a takeaway and as usual greeted by the boss and staff in a friendly way asking about life and football.

Service was terrible, was served after another customer after we ordered first. Curry was like eating gruel. We left everything. Definitely weren’t worth the £95 we paid for leaving everything. Do not recommend. Would get a better meal from a microwave meal

Wonderful food, fresh and hot. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. They have a nice chat and actually care about you as a customer. Prices are very reasonable, with great portion sizes which offer value for money. We will be coming back again for sure.
