Southern Baking Co is such a beautiful, peaceful place. It’s not only cute but has delicious desserts! I was thrilled that they serve key lime pie year around. The staff are very kind, attentive, and add to the whole experience. They also gave us water with our treats which I found very thoughtful. This place is great!

You cannot go wrong with anything from The Southern Baking Co! The owner Mrs. Erinn is so friendly making everyone feel seen and loved! She pays attention to detail and makes suggestions accordingly. The food, bakery, and French press coffee were perfect!!! The atmosphere is lovely and cannot wait to go back to set in the patio, perfect for a peaceful spot! You can schedule tea parties and there is a spot for kids too! There is also a lovely gift shop, with willow trees, sweet gifts and sayings and several options for Taylor Swift fans!

I’ve driven by here so many times and today I finally stopped. The entire building is so cute and welcoming! I got the chicken pesto and wow it was 10/10, very flavorful. I definitely recommend stopping by for lunch or a piece of carrot cake

It was my mommas birthday today and we decided to have a tea time here at the bakery and i’m so glad we did! The food especially the sandwiches were amazing! The table and cups were so beautiful, the desserts are so light and delicious! I highly recommed anyone to come experience their tea time! I wish I had gotten her name, but the women helping us and who got us set up was very friendly and helpful!

The Southern Baking Co. is such a fantastic addition to Spring Hill! The pastries and cornbread are absolutely beautiful, and it’s clear how much care goes into every detail. We were especially impressed with their gluten-free options by Blondy Bake Goods—the cinnamon rolls were out of this world! It’s also great that everything is served on real plates, adding a special touch. The old house it’s in is full of charm, and there’s so much to enjoy—an upstairs tea room, a fun kids’ area with weekly crafts, and a large party room for events. I hear breakfast and lunch are coming soon, which is exciting! Friendly hospitality, amazing southern treats—this place is a must-visit!

First time here and it was amazing! The place itself is so cute! The atmosphere was welcoming and homey. The staff was friendly and kind. Shout out to Erin for being so sweet and going over the top!! Additionally, the food looked and tasted incredible. Definitely recommend and will be back!

I have meant to stop here when they are open for a couple months now looking for some great pastries. I finally had the chance to go on a Saturday morning and was so glad I did. This place was fantastic. Awesome sitting area and a great selection of items. I don’t know why this place doesn’t have a line out the door.
I got carrot cake, cream peach pastry, apple turnover, and the sausage kolache. I was sharing with my wife and boys . I got them to go.
The cream peach pastry was so flaky. The cream was sweet and rich. The peaches were great. I put it in the microwave after taking a bite or two and warmed it up for 15-20 seconds and it was great warm also.
I did the same thing with the apple turnover and it was great also. It could have used a little more filling but it was flaky and great tasting.
The carrot cake was so good. The cream cheese frosting and three layers of cake were so good together. It was cold and so good. The cake was not dry and had fantastic flavor.
The kolache was not a tradition breading kolache but had a croissant outside. I put it in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds just to make it warm and it was perfect. The croissant soaked up all the juices from the sausage and cheese and was still light and flaky. It was so awesome. It was my favorite item we got. My 7 year old son asked if we could go back and get more donuts with sausage in the middle.
I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone. It has a great atmosphere and super friendly staff. The food is fantastic and we will definitely be going back.

What a special place this is! Went with my mom for a mom-daughter date and Erin was extremely hospitable and kind to us, making us feel like family right away, which is something this town has been lacking for years (as a 20+ year resident). The pastries and tea service are absolutely beautiful and delicious. We were able to talk a lot with Erin and Brandon about their visions for the place; it is wonderfully refreshing how centered on community they are. I absolutely love Southern Baking Co.! From the moment you walk in, the cozy and uniquely charming decor makes you feel right at home. The ambience is so inviting, it’s the perfect spot to relax or catch up with a friend. The food is delicious, everything is super fresh! I had one of the cinnamon rolls I’ve ever tasted, and the French press coffee was perfection. You can really tell they care about quality and presentation. Can’t wait to come back—this place is a true gem!
