Soulful Steep is where your nervous system goes on vacation
Walked into The Soulful Steep and immediately felt like my cortisol levels submitted a resignation letter.
This place is part tea house, part cozy living room, part whimsical gift shop, and part “wait… is my soul being gently hugged right now?” The vibe is immaculate — mismatched chairs, affirmations that feel earned (not forced), and decor that says “yes, I journal… but only when it feels right.”
Had tea that tasted like it was brewed by someone who actually cares about you. The cake? Moist enough to make you question your life choices up until this moment. Coffee was legit too — not the aggressive kind that yells at you to be productive, but the supportive friend who says, “Hey… you’re doing great.”
Bonus points for:
• Sunflowers casually uplifting my entire day
• A space that encourages sitting, lingering, and existing without guilt
• Zero pressure to rush — time slows down here on purpose

The Soulful Steep is a hidden gem, I almost want to gate keep it and not share so I can have it to myself. From the minute we stepped in it felt special, there’s little to no places nearby with this amount of character, the energy, the art, the furniture it felt like I was stepping into a little fairy tale. Immediately greeted by Betsy, her energy was contagious, beautiful aura, taught us about the teas, the coffees, the local made baked cakes. The cakes!! The cookies, every single pastry on the counter looked incredible. So many beautiful things about this place from the environment to the service, was a beautiful experience. We were able to sit in a beautiful carriage set up in the store which was magical. The food was great, they offer everything from books to read, vinyls to play, everything seems to be focused on health, wellness, they even have a salt cave that you can schedule in advance. We felt the all the love it took to make this place special. One of a kind place , thank you so much for having us we will be coming back as much as we possibly can .

Absolutely charming cafe with ~60 teas, various coffees, and lots of unique, healthy, and locally produced food and snacks.
Dont be in a hurry if you order food that needs to be warmed (no microwaves here), but the food is great – I really liked the mushroom/veggie quiche with its thin crispy crust.
And heed the warning on the sign outside: hippies have been seen in the area; peace and love may break out at any time. ☮️

I attended an event at the Soulful Steep for the first time last Sunday. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and have already gone back twice since then. It’s a one of a kind tea house with such positive vibes. It is a fun and peaceful environment filled friendly people, sweet and knowledgeable staff and tons of options for organic teas. They also offer a menu of healthy foods, snacks and desserts…..including some gluten free options. They have a variety of cool and cozy options for indoor and outdoor seating. I definitely recommend following them on instagram, as they host a variety of interesting guests and events on a regular basis. I met some amazing new friends while I was there and will now be a regular customer

I had such a great experience at The Soulful Steep. The class I took was thoughtful, grounding, and genuinely enjoyable. The tea was beautiful, and the key lime cake was absolutely delicious. The whole space just feels good to be in. I’m already planning to go back this weekend with my daughter

The Soulful Steep is a gem of a place. As soon as you enter, the unique decor will catch your eye. The seating is comfortable for talking with friends or even working on your computer. The menu of delicious teas, other beverages and food is original and very tasty. While you’re there check out the free library, healing salt cave and list of community events. Even dogs are welcome. This will become one of your favorite spots!

10/03/2025 – Updated review: I had such a beautiful birthday with my hubby at a lovely café and bakery, The Soulful Steep. Their cake and coffee was perfect! Even more amazing, the Himalayan Salt Cave! I am a long time energy healer, and I have to report that after my experience in the Salt Cave, my vibration level was elevated. In addition, my energy chakras felt cleared and recalibrated after the 45 minute session. It was truly an experience. You must try this for yourself! Also, their tarot reader for the evening, Jessi, who is a very talented and empowering tarot reader. What a memorable evening!

Words cannot describe how amazing The Soulful Steep is. I rarely leave reviews, but after visiting this beautiful business on Christmas Eve, I felt compelled to share my experience.
My friend and I were looking for a tea place open late on Christmas Eve and happened to stumble into another world, tucked inside a uniquely decorated and welcoming space.
We were immediately greeted by John and Christina, who made us feel completely at home and spoke to us like friends. After John gave us a tour, Christina helped us order tea and empanadas. We shared how we were feeling, and she thoughtfully selected a unique tea blend tailored specifically to our needs. (Who does that?)
We sat down at a one-of-a-kind table with incredibly comfortable chairs—complete with pillows—where John suggested we take our shoes off and enjoy the warm salt dome at our feet while sipping our tea. (Could it get any better than this?)
Throughout our visit, John and Christina were incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, engaging us in meaningful conversation and sharing their passion for giving back to the community through their business. What they are doing is truly inspiring and rare. You can genuinely feel the warmth they radiate through their care, intention, and love for what they do.
John told us about The Soulful Steep’s salt room, which they built themselves as a true labor of love. We were already planning to return in the future to try it when, to our surprise, he gifted us a session after closing time as a Christmas present. It was one of the kindest gestures I have ever experienced!
The salt room was absolutely enchanting and deeply soothing. During the session, my mindset shifted to a place of positivity, relaxation, and gratitude. I felt clearer and more at peace than I have in a very long time—more relaxed than I’ve ever felt, even in my own home. My friend fell asleep multiple times and had a completely different, yet equally beautiful experience. I am beyond intrigued and grateful for this gift.
After our salt room experience, we ordered the largest and most delicious carrot gingerbread cake we have ever tasted. They made us more tea, and we spent time talking about our life experiences with John and Christina long after the business had closed.
Five stars do not do this business justice. They deserve a medal.
I cannot recommend this spot enough. They truly turned my Christmas into a meaningful memory that I will cherish for a lifetime.

I just have to say how much I love this place! I came in today with my rescue pup, Charlie, and it was the perfect first outing for her. The space is so calming, welcoming, and incredibly dog-friendly—it really put us both at ease.
I’ve stopped by a few times before with my husky and always had a great experience, but today really stood out. The owner is so present, kind, and genuinely welcoming—you can tell they truly care about every person (and dog!) who walks in.
