Charming BBQ restaurant. Every menu item is packed with meat, so it’s worth the price for sure. I gave it four stars because some of the brisket was a bit dry. I recommend the ribs or the brisket nachos. The restrooms and a few seats are inside, but a majority of seats are outside. Dogs welcome outside.

Deluxe nachos are so amazing!!!! Can smell the smokers running from several blocks away. Follow your nose to something delicious. Make sure you take your receipt next door to Libations for a discount on a tasty slushy!! The real estate sign in the window makes me fear they may not be around much longer. Hopefully they are just moving at worst. We will see what the future holds. Updates to come if needed.

Rode through Cody, Wyoming and stopped at this little street side diner Fat Racks BBQ. Parking was good. Ordered through a window and they delivered to table. Pulled pork sandwiches , cole slaw and a drink for the wife and I. The food was pretty darn good, the service is what it was, we weren’t expecting much there and the place was clean. We’re going back to try other things if these sandwiches was this good.. We recommend giving this a go.

We ordered baked potatoes, one with with turkey and one with pulled pork and Oh. My. Gosh!!! I know the BBQ sauce is always commented on but seriously it was unlike any BBQ sauce I’ve had and it was superb! Tangy and sweet and spicy, what?! Seriously!!! The potato salad and coleslaw were also delish! And of course it was a bonus that they have great seating in the sun to bring your bestest friend!! (And indoor seating for cold days.) We highly recommend this as a great restaurant in Cody!!!

We stopped by for dinner and were blown away by how tasty it was! The menu is small but everything we ordered was delicious – I would particularly recommend the ribs, which were the best I have tasted. The BBQ sauce was also fantastic.

The restaurant was full when we arrived and continued to be a busy spot throughout the evening. Prices were good for the portion size and quality of the food, and the service was very friendly.

We are very likely to return to this restaurant.

My husband and I recently stayed in Cody, WY as a base for a trip to Yellowstone. Most of our trip we ate hand packed sandwiches and snacks, so we wanted to try something new for dinner. This place was right down the street from our hotel and appeared to be local, so we gave it a try.
We each got a sandwich (pulled pork and brisket) as well as two drinks (bottled drinks from a fridge). The food came out relatively quickly, but in a brown paper bag even though we were dining in. The portions on the sandwiches were generous, but the meat was unremarkable. There was no great flavor and the barbecue sauce on the side was fine. For $30 between the two of us we were expecting more flavor (good spices, bark, etc.) and were really underwhelmed by what we received. The bread was cold/untoasted, and slightly mushed.
The following night we tried the place around the corner, Pat’s Brewery. Roughly the same price range with great service and significantly better food, and also locally owned.

Unassuming place turning out great bbq! We had brisket and pulled pork. Both were perfectly cooked – nice smoke ring, tender, yet firm. Both were also well-trimmed (not always the case when you get pulled pork). Beans had a nice flavor and were not boring/bland. The sauce was also very good – tangy and spicy. Served on the side, but they provided enough to dip and slather as much as we wanted.

We’re constantly in search of the best bbq, but unfortunately, this place didn’t measure up compared to others we’ve tried. Their brisket didn’t appear to be freshly cut and was dry, as if it had been reheated. Great service and wonderful people working there, however not somewhere we’d be likely to revisit.

I ordered the large brisket sandwich. Then brisket meat was incredibly moist. I would have liked more salt and pepper, maybe some char. The bbq sauce was very good too. Those are the pros.

Note to the cons. The bun is lackluster. It tastes like a normal flat hamburger bun from the grocery store.

Over all, this place is really good. I’m from Texas and the owners of this restaurant are from Texas too. Easily some of the most moist brisket I’ve had. There’s better bbq in Austin. 4/5 stars is about right.

Excellent BBQ with baby back ribs meat that falls off the bone. Delicious pulled pork sandwich and brisket sandwich. Crunchy fresh cole slaw. Nice picnic tables for outdoor seating.
