Excellent service and great quality food. I had the quesabiria and it was so tasty. 3 tacos stuffed to the brim with well seasoned meat, melted cheese, onions, and cilantro. Some of the best I have ever had. The staff was kind and attentive and all the facilities were super clean. Will come back and recommend to anyone

We were quickly seated and got our drinks and chips. The house salsa was the best I’ve ever tasted! I never eat house salsa at Mexican restaurants because it usually just tastes like tomato juice. This was very flavorful!
I ordered the lunch size Favorita, and it was huge! It was three meals worth of food. The meat was plentiful and fresh too!

American/Mexican food. Taco had no flavor. Tamales were overcooked and dry. If you’re looking for authentic this is not the place. Hot salsa was good. Otherwise very disappointing.

Pros:
-good portion size and lots of meat on the La Favorita
-salsa bar with delicious options. My favorite was the pineapple salsa!
Cons: I don’t know if it was a staffing issue, service issue, or something else, but when we went on July 3rd, it was a struggle from the start. We waited at the host stand for 10 minutes without being addressed. Once we got a table, menu, chips, and salsa, it was another 15 minutes before we got drinks ordered and then 3 reminders before I got mine. From the time we sat down until someone came to take our order, it was about 45 minutes and 3 baskets of chips. Another 30-40 minutes later, the food came out, again missing my meal and having to remind the server. Another wait in line to check out stretched our dinner to almost 2 hours.
The staff was constantly moving, and you could see they were working hard, so there are more issues than that as it just was not efficient. At that time, everyone was being given plastic knife and fork packs, and one of our meals was served on a very chipped plate. Other guests were also complaining about long wait times. We are from out of town and came with family who said their first experience at this restaurant was great, so I’m hoping this was just an off night.
