I also scored a vintage Bob Seger “Against The Wind” baseball shirt and looked at vinyl while waiting for my food.
Chili cheese fries and rich boy “fish” sandwich. Man, it hit the spot. I’m going back asap!
My wife and I went to totem on Saturday, and as we pulled in I said “something smells really good” and we thought it was the White Horse across the street.
Nope, it was The Sol Section cooking outside. As she looked for books, I looked over the menu and picked up a phish rich boy, a clt, and some chili cheeze fries with a get up juice on the side. I know that’s a lot of food, but when we try something new, we want to TRY it and taste multiple things.
After I ordered, we talked about Lukas Lakers debut tonight, and had some amazing counter banter talking ball, the atmosphere and service are unmatched.
But the food, the FOOD. We got it to-go and ate when we got home. Let me tell you, when I say this food is great, it’s GREAT. I couldn’t tell my sandwich wasn’t actually fish, my wife couldn’t tell she wasn’t eating bacon on her clt, the smokiness and flavor of the chili was spectacular.
I can’t recommend picking up their food on Tuesday and Saturday when they’re at Totem. I know we’ll be back, and I know we’ll be hitting up dinner at Queens Provisions too.
Keep doing what you’re doing, this should be a Flint staple in no time. Do yourself a favor and go try it.
