This is by far one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. The staff know the menu inside and out and had no problem explaining to me what the items were and what the spice levels were like. They helped me choose items that fit what I was craving while keeping in mind my spice tolerance. I will 1000% be coming back here more often to get food. The smell of the food alone made it worth trying!!!

The staff truly cares about their customers experience and they are immensely generous, even letting my partner and I try a complimentary dessert. With good food choices being seldom found in Altoona, Dada’r Taste is a welcome breath of fresh air. The gentleman that took our order was kind, helpful with my brother’s dairy allergy, and his passion for his food was obvious. The food itself was fantastic. The rich flavors of the butter chicken and chicken chatnar brought the wonderful flavors of India to Central PA. We will definitely be back.

We went for our first authentic experience, this place was so cute first of all, and while we noticed there were so many to go and door dash orders while we were there, the service was still so fast and beyond great. Being new to the food itself, the owner (we’re assuming) was so great at explaining the whole menu (without even being asked) and helping us choose ultimately what we ordered! You could tell he genuinely just wanted us to enjoy our meal and experience. He also gave us a complimentary dessert which was also so delicious! We can’t wait to go back and experience more of the menu!!

Some of the best food and service in town! This is some authentic Indian, and you can taste it. The chef truly handles the high quality spices and ingredients like a magician, creating the perfect blend of sweet and savory in every bite. Small things like keeping the bone in for the goat (which has NO gaminess! Yay!) really enhances the flavor and shows the kitchen knows what they’re doing. The staff is INCREDIBLY kind, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable about the dishes! The rice pudding dessert will give you and beautiful, rich experience and a lovely palette cool down to end the meal with. If you want the experience of a gormet meal and private chef for a fraction of the price, head on over. You’ll smile with every single taste you take. Tip: New to Indian food? Try butter chicken! My go to recommendation for beginners. 😉

I try to stop by anytime I’m in the area. Best saag paneer I’ve had in the country! They even threw in a free kheer the last time we were in and thankfully so. I got the lamb vindaloo Desi spice level 15/10 and it was . So good! I can’t wait till I’m back in town again.

Food was super good. Placed an order online and it was ready when I got there! Stayed hot and fresh on my 42 minute drive home. Samosas and dipping sauces were my favorite part. Will definitely be returning!
