I love the Social on Depot Hill! Great concept of a “mullet bar” – upscale & elevated in the front, relaxed & more casual in the back. I have dined here numerous times and been pleased every single time. Good food, drinks, staff & atmosphere! My favorites are the pretzels with beer cheese, charcuterie board & pepperoni pizza.

An enjoyable new local spot mostly focused on pizza and cocktails. Walking in there is a nice bar and seating area giving an upscale sports bar feel. For larger parties or when it’s crowded there is a massive seating area around the corner of the bar that’s very open with a karaoke stage. The cocktail menu has a few twists on the classics and don’t miss the sweets section that has some really nice drinks including an espresso martini and key lime pie martini. The pizza is a thin crust smaller pie that’s a good meal for one and a nice snack for two (or add a salad) our initial one came out overcooked but they were happy to fix that and the result was quite tasty. Our friends got the Hawaiian pizza and really enjoyed it. The garlic knots were a hit as were the wings in a bbq sauce if I recall correctly. Overall we had a good time, the ambiance is really up front so if you can I’d hang out up there but really the Social is working hard to show everyone a really good time.

We popped in to check this place out yesterday. The set up was super cute. We had the haven and hell drink and a lemon drop, both were fantastic. We also tried the pretzels and beer cheese. The pretzels were so fluffy and warm. I was hesitant about the beer cheese because usually the beer taste is too strong for my liking, but this one was perfect. The staff we interacted with were really nice and helpful with questions about the menu.

The food was delicious! The pizza has more toppings than most and was so flavorful! There was a game area for the grands to play which kept them busy until the food came. The service was excellent! Probably the best service and food we have had since we have been in Loudon. Everyone was so friendly! Thanks for a terrific experience!!

Fantastic restaurant. I am from out of town and usually struggle to find great food in smaller communities, but this place exceeded expectations. The food was outstanding and the service was just as good. This is a true hidden gem for the locals. Highly recommend.

This place is 5 stars for Athens, and Im glad we have a cool quiet (yet thriving) place to grab XUL , a good cocktail, and a reliably good dinner. It’s not the cheapest- but Id rather be here than any other restaurant in town. From owners to managers to staff, EVERYONE is friendly and everyone is helpful. Trivia and events also make this place a must go.
