We went to the Boardwalk on Labor Day; it wasn’t very busy even though it was a holiday on Pine Lake. We sat ourselves (per the sign) however we were not acknowledged until my husband went to the bar after 10 minutes of waiting to ask if we were supposed to put orders in at the bar or if a waitress would come by our table to take our orders. (Being a more laid back bar, it could have gone either way) The bartender was very dismissive and said she would be by. Finally someone came by our table (she never introduced herself so I’m unsure of a name) and took our water/soft drink orders. We also asked to put in our food order at that same time. We still did not have food 45 minutes later so we flagged down the waitress who told us it’d be another 10 minutes or so but that the kitchen still had not started our food. It would have been understandable if it was super busy but it was not or if the waitress had updated us at all on the kitchen situation but she did not. I cannot rate the food as we ended up leaving to go someplace else. The atmosphere was nice being among the boats right on the lake. However, the service was horrible and very frustrating.

A great dining experience right by a beautiful lake. Waitress was friendly and the food was even better. There is good shade with umbrellas and you’re able to see the boaters and fishermen doing their thing out in the water while you eat. Highly recommend

We had there flatbread pizza. It was good not great. Then they didn’t check on us so we finished our meal and just sat there waiting for a check and then for them to come back to take payment.

Walked in there were only 3 tables with people at them. Nobody was at bar. We sat down and waited for service….after 10 minutes we had not been acknowledged in any way. Two different servers were at the tables next to us at least two different times. Not a hello, i will be with you shortly….nothing. Bartender had no one at bar ……after another 5 minutes we walked out. Was looking forward to trying a couple of their specialty drinks and a flatbread….oh well….their loss. I might give them another try??? Not sure!!!

I was at Boardwalk today. 1st.. food was ok they messed up my order and my to go order. While we eating at the lake bar top the people behind us ( guests of the hotel) were letting their kid puke allover the lawn…while we were eating. Went to say some thing and the co-owners son was like what do you want me to do about it kids are gonna puke. I said “are you being serious?”… he was nothing was done as I made multiple complaints while waiting for my right to go order. Then the to go order box bottom was covered in marinera and it got all over. Needless to say I will not be going back there. Worst restaurant experience ever!!!!

We have been there a few times as we frequent pine lake a lot. Last week was the worst service we ever got. Waited 1.5 hours for food. We finally took it to go by 8pm and the cuban had no pickles or mustard. The workers were running around working hard so they must be short staffed. Waiting that long at a quick bar/grill type place is unacceptable. We weren’t even told their was a wait when we sat down. Just kept being told 5/10 minutes every 15 minutes .. Probably won’t be back unless we hear of major management changes

We enjoyed spending a Friday evening here watching boats out on Pine Lake and watching the sunset. Leann took a gew minutes to find us but then was very attentive and took excellent care of us. The new pavillion style building is quite loud compared to the old bar that had sails and tarps but it looks nice. The food is flavorful and well prepared. Unfortunately the menu hasn’t changed for 3, 4, maybe five years ? Beer could be volder but all in all a good place to relax on the lake .
