You want the best burger in Rapid City? You found it!
The Social House is very unique for this area. It does a great job blending a traditional sports bar setting with higher class cocktail options and adding some of the best food you can buy.
Executive chef Rodney has whipped up an incredible menu of some of the most unique creations that can appeal to any taste. Make sure you go with an open mind and an empty stomach!
I am not a fan of watching sport in a bar, but I had a great time watching a recent primetime NFL game here. The service was excellent and I had a very nice time.
I don’t think I can rate this place high enough!

So basically the short of it is this is the only place worth getting a burger downtown. Everywhere else has had shrinkflation and inflation so you don’t really get what you pay for. It’s also the best tasting burger that isn’t somewhere on the edge of town in a dive bar. The price is good and they have a variety of different burgers. Sort of like you’d see at Sickies that’s on the other side of town. I ordered the deluxe option for veggies on my burger and thought I accidently ordered a salad. Other places downtown you’ll get like a tomato and a piece of letuce. It was the best smash burger I’ve had and the bacon was cooked perfectly. The fries and the actual burger were well seasoned and I’m pretty sure the ranch to dip my fries was made fresh. Their beer seemed well priced and I was impressed with their cocktails by the menu description seemed to have amazing mixology. The bartender was very friendly in a sorta guy you’d wanna have a beer with way. Had plenty of tvs for sports and while the music was a little maniacly shuffled it was all 90s classics. They also have scanable code on their menus for their beer and spirits options which I found cool plus the Tinder Box is right next door if you’re the cigar type for a bar hop situation.

It smells like cigars which makes sense because it’s right next door, but I’d think they were smoking them inside this building too. Hard to maintain an appetite with the smoke smell.
The food took about an hour to be ready, told that the grill is very small, but they apologized many times and made our food to go when we asked.

The food was delicious. It’s always fun to find a new restaurant with character. It was a bit loud with all the TV’s, but I wasnt surprised since it was college football time. Staff was great. I’ll be back.

Tried The Social House for the first time. Someone had said that these were the best burgers in Rapid….It absolutely lived up to the hype. I had the Double Oinker Smash Burger and it was banging. It was perfectly cooked, insanely flavorful, and exactly what a burger should be.
Service was just as impressive. Skylyn, my server, was attentive, fast, and totally on point the entire time. You can tell the staff really cares about the experience.
The space itself is very cool, well designed and feels fresh. It’s obvious the owners take a lot of pride in their establishment. This is a fantastic addition to downtown Rapid City, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend.

First time in The Social House in Rapid City, SD. As the readers know, I’m a fair but critical reviewer on Google and other pages. I will say this with confidence…the Papa Popper burger with fries was THE BEST burger you will find downtown Rapid City (and only $14 versus some of these INSANE prices at other joints). Rivals some of the best smashburgers I’ve had in joints in Dallas, Scottsdale, San Diego etc. Perfectly cooked. Excellent crisp on the fries.
Servers were all friendly and attentive. Not a second went by I didn’t have what I needed. The owner, Jace, has done this community a big service by opening a joint with a cool vibe, sports, great food, and a perfect blend of ritzy cocktails down to the perfect Busch Latte.
Would highly recommend. Don’t miss a chance to get your butt into Social House to treat your tastebuds to a delicious experience.

We were on our way home from Mt Rushmore, and wanted to grab a bite and watch the first half of a NFL game. The place staff was very accommodating and helpful. So many TVs, it was the perfect place to watch sports. After scanning the menu we HAD to try the brisket corn dogs. They did not disappoint. We then tried the Athenian smash burger and it was worth a trip back to Rapid City! We love Manchego cheese, and the olive relish made it almost taste like New Orleans. Definitely muffuletta fibes.

Had a great lunch here on a random Friday off work. Sat at the bar and was greeted right away. Food was up quick. Got the Double Oink with Onion Rings. Everything was excellent. Awesome sauce for the rings. Burger was juicy and delicious. Nice thick bacon. Gooey cheese. Can’t wait to come back.

Skylyn A. was amazing! She has the perfect personality, and charisma, for the environment. The onion rings were FANTABULOUS! Perfectly crunchy, Gochujang dip…mmmmmm! Did a Bloody Mary (minus the candied bacon? Only misstep noted), Hubby had the Tropical Blonde, loved it. After the cocktail, I switched to Sippin Pretty…OMG the color and taste ..spot on! Highly recommend, saw couples, kids, and families, fun for all!
