I love love this place. Yummy, strong drinks and friendly service. Very clean and relaxed atmosphere with dive bar prices. The bartenders are laid back and don’t hover over you. I haven’t personally ordered the food yet but it always looks fresh. I live like a 4 min walk away definitely becoming my go-to.

Decided to come here on a Saturday for lunch after watching a guy on YouTube down a 7 lbs loco moco here.

Saw their opening time was 2 pm, tried to dine here but the guy behind the counter told me the kitchen opens at 3:30. Went back home but on my route, it was already 3:15. Decided to go back and try their Social Moco.

Got my food around 20 min, the proportion was pretty big. I sadly do not like eggs so I tried to order over hard, but it was still a bit too eggy for me. The beef patty with the corn beef was amazing, best tasting beef patty I have ever had. The mushrooms and onions were nice too, as well as the mac salad. I also ordered an oolong tea.

I would like to come back again, but since I’m a lightweight, I don’t think I would drink here lol.

My friends and I decided to have dinner at this place since we always seen it in passing. The service was fine and food was okay except for my husband’s order. He ordered the fish tacos. Later on that night he woke up with a terrible experience of constant vomiting, using the bathroom, tight abdomen, and broke out with fever and chills. It was definitely food poisoning. We were trying to recall what he ate prior in the day before dinner and know for a fact that wasn’t the case. I’m sorry. After seeing what he had to go through, I don’t recommend this place at all.

Hidden gem tucked away on the 2nd floor of Ward Center by Nordstrom Rack, this bar/restaurant has now more parking than where it used to be before at Mccully and Young Street (the old ASB)

Popular hangout for me to watch sports and for the late nite crowd as its one of the few places open late. Friendly bartenders and wait staff, great selection of drinks to choose from and now launched a happy hour from 4-6pm Sunday thru Thursday, with discounted food and drink specials.

Usually come here 1-2 times a week since the food is straight action. The Social Moco, Fish Tacos, and the Uni Mentaiko Pastas are my go to….the food here is top notch. 5 stars

Server made this a bad a experience. ((She)) was rude from the beginning,.ignored us when we were the only table there, then it got busy and she seemed bothered that we needed to order, she made other people deliver the food and give us our bill. If you can’t do your job, work else where like the dumpster picking trash. Don’t work in customer service. The food itself was great.

It’s been 2 years since the last time we were here and we knew we had to come back.

One of the drinks we enjoyed the most was the match old fashion. We went to Japan and still couldn’t find a drink that was as good as the Social’s. It’s definitely a drink to try if you like matcha and old fashioned drinks.

As for food, their loco moco with fried rice is really good. When we first had it, we were only going to share it between me and my husband. We devoured it and ordered a second one! We ordered it again when we came back and it did not disappoint.

We also tried the uni mentaiko pasta and the oyster shooters. Uni is a hit or miss for me and I really enjoyed this uni pasta. It was just slightly too salty. Oysters were also tasty. We would order these again.

There’s a parking garage with plenty of parking. The restaurant is on the second floor. The restaurant has a bar and plenty of TVs so it’s a great place to watch sports and catch their HH. The staff are great and friendly. We can’t wait to come back here again when we visit Honolulu.

The Social is a sports bar on McCully where you can get good pupus and entrees. The place gets busier past nine, but many of the tables are reserved before then on weekends. Walking in, you should be able to get a table, but it does get busy with a Millennials crowd. The service is excellent. Most of the dishes are good, though the pork chops entree turned out to be a little salty. Not a big deal because everything else was great. Parking can get tight but there’s a lot across McCully at the bank where you can pay to park.

This was a nice place to have drinks and food at. I’m not sure if it’s for smaller parties or just bigger parties. I was with a party of ten and there was alot of bigger parties around us. It took us about a hour to get a table. But once we did the food and drinks were coming out fast the service was great. This would be a good place to go out to after work and chill. Good old school R&B and rap. But with the music playing and a open floor plan you can hear everything people are saying and it feels like you are yelling at time’s to hear your party’s conversation. I hope this helps you out and have a great day.

Food is a little more than an average bar but it’s excellent and big portions. Good prices on drinks. At time of writing, you can get $9 pours of Hibiki Harmony and Glenfiddich 14. $7 for pours of Bulleit and similar. They have daily drink specials too. big space inside for groups. Parking lot is a little small 10ish stalls but there’s street parking on King Street at night or a paid lot across the street (they check so don’t chance it). 4 dart boards. They play the 7pm replay of Monday Night Football games.

On the second floor of the parking structure. Good place to play darts, get drinks, have a burger, and watch sports with friends.
