There’s a variety of yummy sandwiches and meets with cornbread was delicious and ice cream and brownie was great. Lovely the yummy chicken. Enjoyed the barbecue sauces very much. Would like to see a better atmosphere as they had paint chipping and and other things that distracted from the overall experience. Our has been using smoking Apple to cater food for company parties for a couple of years now and we enjoy it every time.

Fantastic all around. Flavor, yes. Meats, yes, yes. Did not disappoint.
Clever use of the rolls y’all. Variety of sauces to hit any preference from sweet to savory.
For me puts the ‘Bam’ to shame.
You’re now in full rotation.
It’s been a struggle to find the standard of bbq that I’m accustomed to in Utah. This homesick Texan feels less homesick now.
Thanks for paying attention to the details.

Over all we liked this place, especially the variety of the sauces. Our favorite was the raspberry bbq. The ribs were very good, and the loaded fries went well with all the sauces. We would have liked green beans, with bacon if possible, as a side option (the only vegetable options are a house salad and steamed assorted veggies). The cornbread was surprisingly good; it crumbled very easily but was sweet, maybe with a hint of brown sugar in it.

The food was really good the best things to get is the pulled pork and the sweet potato fries. The pudding is really good and you can share it with someone, it’s a little on the sweet side. The corn bread is good too, they have put a little twist on it, looking at it, it looks like there might be some brown sugar of some sort that adds a nice flavor to it. Also with the 2 meats or 3 meats option each pick is 4oz of meet. So 2 meats is 8oz of meat.

Stopped in for some BBQ and had a mixed experience. The pulled pork was the standout — flavorful and tender, definitely the highlight of the meal. The sweet corn was also a surprise hit, buttery and perfectly cooked.
Unfortunately, the ribs were a letdown — dry and didn’t have that fall-off-the-bone texture you hope for. The brisket was decent, but not memorable enough to order again. Sides were hit-or-miss: mashed potatoes were okay but on the dry side, and the cornbread was especially disappointing — dry, overly crumbly, and lacking moisture.
Overall, some bright spots but not enough to make it a must-return. Would maybe come back just for the pulled pork and sweet corn.

My girlfriend and I had a great experience at The Smoking Apple. The brisket and chicken were packed with flavor, though they initially arrived barely warm. When we asked if they could heat it up, the staff couldn’t have been nicer—they promptly got us freshly heated portions that were absolutely spot-on. The fries were a standout—crispy, flavorful, and exactly how I like them. I do not enjoy soggy fries and these were done to perfection! And as a bonus, they have Apple Beer on tap, which happens to be one of my all-time favorites. It’s those little details that make a place memorable. Overall, a delicious meal and a place I’d recommend!

Not sure how they got a 4.5 star rating. The brisket was roast with BBQ sauce on it. The sauce was actually good. The sausage was bland. The Cornbread was good. Oven baked bbq is not my favorite. Never been to a real BBQ restaurant that doesn’t have fresh brewed sweet tea. Overpriced for what we got.

Excellent local bbq. Their meat is hard to beat, smoked slow just the way we like it.

Smoking Apple is by far my favorite BBQ in the area. It is a small, locally owned restaurant and you can tell that they put a lot of effort into making good food. There was a time in the past that you would expect to wait 20-30 min to get your food but they seem to have made some changes and wait time is now only 5-10 min. You can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu and they will let you sample before making a decision. My top picks are the brisket, ribs, and the mashed taters with corn.

Legit Carolina-style BBQ in Spanish Fork! The pulled pork platter with cornbread and mac & cheese is my go-to—meat is smoky, tender, and the original sauce has the perfect vinegar tang. Brisket is fall-apart amazing too. Love the huge portions and the family-owned vibe. Took my whole crew after a Little League game and they devoured everything. Peach cobbler à la mode for dessert is non-negotiable.
