The owner and “Pit Master” of the Smoke‘N Pig BBQ. He founded the company in April of 2016 and began operations in May, 2016. Gabe brings 15 years of experience in the food industry to The Smoke’ N Pig BBQ and perfected his cooking and catering service while working at two of Lansing and East Lansing’s favorite restaurants. Gabe has always had a desire to own his own business, so in the spring of 2016, he decided to follow his dream and with the love and support of family and friends, The Smoke’ N Pig BBQ was born. Gabe has spent the last two years perfecting his secret BBQ rub which sets his ribs, rib tips and pulled pork apart from other BBQ establishments in the Lansing and surrounding area.

This food is amazing! The meat is ridiculously tender and their sauce is pretty good two. This is a good option for a quick bite to eat or is you want a filling meal.

There’s a lot I can say about this place. I’ll start with the cons. I wish the location was in a more visible spot. Now there were some simple mistakes that were made when getting my food with my family button nothing to really gripe about and I do wish they would seat you and take your order. The pros to this place are great! The food was KILLER. I asked to give me the works and give me what they thought were their best items. They were on point with every single flavor even down to the smoke. I will now recommend anyone craving bbq to go check out the Smoke N Pig BBQ. Thanks a lot guys

Got an order for pickup. I’m not from the area and was pleasantly surprised by the food. It tasted great. I got the brisket,mac n cheese, cornbread and the homemade banana pudding. Highly recommend!

The staff was very friendly and served food in short order. The chicken wings were moist and tasty. The loaded mac and cheese was a delight and creamy. One of the best baked beans I have had from a smoked meats establishment. We will be back to try other menu items the next time we are in town.

Saturday was my first time visiting The Smoke N’ Pig BBQ. The food was great! I had the loaded fries, cornbread, and banana pudding, while my friend had the pulled pork sandwich and macaroni and cheese. Both of us agreed that the food was delicious. I like how you order at the counter, but the food is brought out to you. The service was very fast and the employees were friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was nice as well. Each table has a collection of house-made BBQ sauces and paper towel rolls, both of which are a must for a barbecue restaurant. I think this is going to be my go-to place for barbecue food in Lansing. I will definitely be returning!

Small, quiet, out of the way place. The food was great and everyone was happy with their meal. We had the brisket, chicken, pork nachos, loaded fries, Mac and cheese, and baked beans. Each meal, was quite a more food than I expected, way better taste and value than the previous BBQ place we tried in Lansing.

A friend suggested this restaurant and said we wouldn’t be sorry. He was right! We ordered the beef, which was cooked tender and flavorful. The fries were fantastic, and we loved the creamy rich macaroni and cheese. You can order the amount and type of meat you want and the sides. Our service was excellent. The store is in a little strip mall and not well advertised. This would be a great restaurant to cater a summer event.
