Wonderful little brunch place in Wayne. Great outdoor seating also. Small menu but very hard to decide because there’s so many good items. Coffee was fantastic. Cannot wait to go again BYOB!

I decided to dine here mainly because I am a lover of savory pies, and the Duck Pie did not disappoint. So many times when I eat out and a savory pie is on the menu I find myself staring at a deconstructed thing. All the ingredients piled on a plate in a lovely gravy with a Pie Puff on top. Good, but not great.
In this The Silverspoon already has my vote as they made an honest to god PIE. Full crust top and bottom and when you factor in that the filling was spectacular, the duck juicy and tender and the crust not too flaky and not too crunchy? I was in heaven.
Piled atop the Pie was a veritable mountain of watercress and Pomegranate seeds (next time I will set them to the side so I can choose the proper amount per mouthful) and it’s here that the Pie really took off.
The Pomegranate seeds were little jewels of sweet and tart juice that gave a little pop of color and cool to the delicious duck with every bite. I was so very thrilled with it.
I got an opportunity to speak with the new proprietor Michael and he was also an absolute pleasure. The service was friendly and the food was incredible. I will absolutely be back!
The only thing I wish was that I had checked my doggie bag before I left, sadly my pie leftovers must have been placed in another bag. That’s okay though, it just means that I have to go back and order again 😀

This is a lovely little spot that everybody should try to make it to. I especially loved coming here in the summer when the outdoor seating felt connected with the whole indoor, it’s really gorgeous! I’ve tried a few things from their menu and I loved it every time. Two tops are a little snug and they did always seat me directly next to the only other people there, but still overall a good experience.

I have eaten here a couple of times and picked up food to go numerous times. Their food is very consistently delicious, and the service is always kind and attentive. On a recent visit to pick up a take out order Kristen and Michael were particularly thoughtful. Thanks again Kristen and Michael!

Felt rushed. Arrived and 2 minutes after being seated the waiter asked have we decided what we wanted to order. When we asked for more time he returned again after only approximately 3 minutes. Also our reservation was at 6pm. The dinner hour started at 5:00pm and they already were running out of their mussels appetizer. As for other appetizers, the menu is limited.

Server was nice but seemed very overwhelmed. I ordered the mushroom bisque with the truffle fries. The truffle fries didn’t come out until 10 minutes after the soup and had to ask the server where they were. The bisque needed salt or some seasoning, it was pretty bland. The French onion soup and the apple pancake special were very good!

Service was great, breakfast was great. They made a small error on my extra eggs and gave them to me on the house. Food came timely and hot. Menu has both breakfast and lunch, and it has a lot to offe, large menu choices. Inside is a bit small but it didn’t effect the great meal. I look forward to returning and eating outside. Picture is the chicken sandwich my girlfriend ordered. Delightful

Wow! This food was amazing! I had, mushroom soup and eggs benedict, with chef’s choc mousse to finish. They have fresh ingredients, friendly staff, today was no waiting, inside and out seating, and the flavors across items are really well thought out. Rustic setting, farm to table type vibe and cute area all around. I started digging into this eggs benedict before thinking to take a shot of it…

I visit this restaurant for many years and I had the best meal every time! I highly recommend The Silverspoon to anyone who likes a good meal with great service and atmosphere. I had holiday parties, becghlorette party and more often just a quick lunch or relaxing dinner with friends. Michael is amazing and runs an excellent business.
