The atmosphere is stunning—high ceilings, artsy decor, and spacious seating. Service is attentive, and the menu blends international and local flavors beautifully. The owner personally greets guests, adding a warm touch. Portions are generous—too generous, actually—but their charming to-go packaging makes leftovers a delight. My boyfriend made reservations for dinner for us since we are visiting town. We were very pleased with everything— from the ambiance, to the service and their amazing food. You can tell that staff are being treated well with how we were treated and how our server, Jon, went above and beyond. Amazing dinner at The Silver Fork. This was the 2nd time eating but the first in this beautiful location which was a former library.
The atmosphere was cozy and elegant and so many beautiful things to look at.
Our waitress was amazing (unfortunately, I forgot her name) provided amazing details on the menu and specials was a great sense of humor.
Now for the food… everything was spectacular… the special mushroom soup was so delicious. The French onion soup was out of this world… and the main courses were also amazing. The potato salad that came with the schnitzel was out of this world…
We would recommend this to everyone looking for a nice place to enjoy amazing food and atmosphere!

Silver Fork – Vermont ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was truly one of the best meals of my life. The chef has an incredible gift for flavor – every dish felt perfectly balanced yet completely elevated. The atmosphere was so relaxed and welcoming, making the whole experience feel unrushed and special.
We started with the tuna carpaccio, which was hands-down my favorite part of the evening. The flavors were unreal – bright, fresh, and so perfectly composed that I know I’ll be thinking about that dish for the rest of my life. My husband had the lamb meatballs, which he described as “fabulous” – tender, flavorful, and beautifully seasoned.
For mains, I chose the Creole Shrimp Mofongo, and my husband had the crab cake (basically pure crab) with shoestring fries. The presentation was stunning, but what really stood out was how fun and exciting each bite was – truly a joy to eat.
We ended with passion fruit sorbet served atop a large circular ice cube with fruit compote — such a creative and refreshing finish. Again, the flavors were just unreal.
The service was amazing – attentive without being intrusive. The chef’s wife, who I assume is an integral part of this wonderful restaurant, came by our table twice, adding such a personal and genuine touch to the evening. The hospitality here is truly unmatched.
Thank you for making our one night in Vermont so memorable. Your restaurant added to our newlywed bliss. I cannot wait to come back.

Just a wonderful dining experience. The physical space is gorgeous, open, tall ceilings, beautiful wood and huge windows. Our server, Kathryn, was a total pro. We shared the tuna cappacio, lamb meatballs, roasted pear stuffed with goat cheese and then the creole shrimp mofongo. Every bite was unique and amazing. Dessert was the bread pudding which so many have raved about and it did not disappoint. Our best meal in recent memory….

Warm and welcoming, very comfortable atmosphere. The food is of the highest possible quality and is consistently made to perfection. This time, I ordered the duck. It was the most delicious meal I have ever eaten………ANYWHERE! My sister had the schnitzel………AGAIN. It’s outrageous! The menu is diversified and the servers all hold the bar very high in what they do. Melody and Chef Mark have created a diamond in Manchester, Vermont! An absolute must if you are in the area.

Great service and atmosphere but the food taste is a bit lacking. The brisket was quite dry and a lot of their dishes lacked salt and seasoning. The food also takes some time to prepare so expect to be there for a bit. For the price the taste should be a lot better but the portions are at least decent. Overall I would not recommend.
