The Side Project Cellar offers indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor patio is a bricked, European-style patio that wraps around the back and the side of our building. The SP Cellar is our cozy spot that’s great for a date night, small groups or for that person who wants to quietly enjoy a beer while they work on their computer or read a book. The Cellar offers Side Project beer, but also boasts a wide variety of beer from breweries around the world (on draft, by the bottle and beer on cask), plus an extensive whiskey list, wines by the glass, cider and a rotating cocktail menu. The Side Project Cellar also carries some non-alcoholic beverages like Topo Chico, soda, and apple juice. The Side Project Cellar opened in 2014.

Came down for the annual stout week. It’s a fantastic time to hang with friends and try some amazing stouts. Each day had its own special brewers stout. I was able to snag a few bottles after coming up twice during the week. Highly recommend!

TEN STARS OUT OF FIVE.

The absolute gem of breweries in St. Louis, and so far the entire Midwest. Everything on the menu is incredibly desirable. The draft menu is split into what temperature the cellared beers are kept. Just, perfection, right? Pages upon pages of incredible, available beers on draft, bottle, and can. Plus, many more pages of whiskey, too. Belgian vibes for the atmosphere. This may be the most uniquely and immaculately conceived and received brewery. Rare find.

Amazing bar serving some of the best beers in the world. They are expensive, but rare and made by some of the most talented brewers and blenders in the business. The staff is friendly and helpful, and while it can get raucous and busy, you may make some friends and will enjoy your time here.

This place came very highly recommended. We were excited by the beer selection.

We were traveling through town and had to wait until 1 for them to open. Usually most places that’s not a big deal and it’s pretty empty then. But there was a long line just to get in. When the doors opened the line was too the door and the bar was full. And only one person serving everyone. So it took us almost an hour to get a drink. Several people behind us gave up and left. We strongly considered it.

When I finally got to order I don’t understand why most of their beers in bottles can’t be taken to go. The To-Go selection is pretty limited compayto the amount of bottles they have available.

Another annoyance was they only have one single bathroom. So in addition to waiting in line for an hour to order a drink ee also had to wait in line just to use the BR.

The beer was good but wow they need to improve their service.

Beer for after work, I was here with my laptop and enjoyed a very peaceful early evening of writing Yelp reviews, sipping a frosty beverage and watching people coming and going.

Side Project Cellar has a tremendous beer list, much more than just the usual macro brews on tap. It’s comfortable, it’s got a very chill vibe and it’s a lovely little spot.

Side Project Cellar from the outside is extremely unassuming, but as soon as the threshold is crossed it opens to a space with plenty of both table and bar seating. The lights are dimmed, but not so much as to strain the eyes. The beer menu is nothing short of comprehensive, with styles that run just about every style possible. It’s quite stunning the amount of house brews they manage to not only create, but also keep in stock.

The breweries cellar serving up some of the best beers made in the world. With an ever changing draft list and an extensive bottle list from the cellar on top of the private and personal experience the small but unique space creates, you are bound to have a great experience. The staff is great and incredibly knowledgeable.

In addition my favorite experiences are the multiple special events they have a year serving up their more limited beers.

Not really here for food and didn’t try the snacks, we went for the heavy hitters available currently, mjk/bbt2020/derivation 17. And boy what a treat these brought us. Great service from the people working here, friendly and really helping out with any questions we had.
Likely to be coming back.

Cozy little hipster space. Friendly bartender and interesting beer and spirit choices. I had an excellent Dunkel and fun cask sour. Probably not a great choice for hoppy beer lovers. Overall worth a visit if you dig sours and barrel aged beers.
