Yes, sir — this was my plate after waiting 45 minutes. Still no food.
I came to The Slice in Eastlake today to try the food. I ordered a chicken salad, but after 45 minutes, I never received my plate.
My wife and daughter finished their pizzas while I was still waiting. I eventually had to go inside to ask for the check because my family was already done eating and I never got my food. When you make space during the week to share a moment with your family, ending up just watching everyone else eat is very disappointing.
At the end, they offered a $7 discount, but I wasn’t looking for a discount or free food — I was just hoping to have a good family moment. I still left a cash tip for the waitress, but overall the experience was poor.
There were very few people in the restaurant, and no manager ever came to our table during the more than hour we were there.
Disappointed.

The Shack Slice & Brew is hands down one of the best spots on the Eastlake side. The pizza is always fresh, flavorful, and loaded with toppings, and the slices are filling and satisfying every time. What really makes this place stand out is the service, Jo is the best server. She’s friendly, attentive, and makes sure everything is perfect without ever having to ask. Her positive attitude and great energy make the whole experience even better and honestly keep us coming back. The atmosphere is laidback and fun, perfect for hanging out with friends, watching a game, or just enjoying good food and drinks. If you’re craving great pizza and top tier service, this place is a must, especially if Jo is working.

Had a great experience at The Shack Slice & Brew on Eastlake, largely thanks to Miah behind the bar. She’s bright, genuinely fun to talk to, and makes you feel welcome the moment you sit down. Service with her is fast and on point—drinks come out quickly, orders are right, and you never feel forgotten even when it’s busy.
The pizza and drinks are already solid, but having a bartender like Miah really elevates the whole experience. She keeps things moving while still taking the time to chat and make the visit enjoyable. Definitely recommend stopping by and sitting at the bar if she’s working—you’ll leave in a better mood than when you walked in.

I love football specially when is Cowboy season. I get to wear my jearsey, walk around in the patio and be ready for the game. I love to order some beer and sit down just to wait for my special Siracha wings. Man that sauce turns me on!! That sauce is bomb. I love food, the sauces and pizzas. Even though I am not from El Paso I love the The Shack. The service is always wonderful from prepping, cooking, servers, bartenders and managers. Thanks to the GM Krista which she is always giving out for her team I am very observative person when it comes out to see a wonderful team!!!

1st time experience/visit here with my brother. We stopped at 2 pm for the Raiders Football game & requested for the game to be put on.Too bad you can’t leave negative stars because even 1 star is too nice & the restaurant doesn’t deserve 1 star. Our waitress mentioned the specials & failed to inform the $5 pizza is more of a personal pizza. My brother & myself expected a bigger pizza since we were going half on pizza. Pizza was a 1 of 5 scale. We wanted to order a big amount of wings to go half with each other but wings are only in 6 count. Wings were a negative 1 of a 5 scale. Under cooked & no flavor. Once we received our food a waitress came over & ask if they could change the game. We refused to allow game to be changed, especially since we request to view game. We were on the outside patio. The waitress came buy which basically we felt we were being forced out. No drink refills & we kept being asked to close out our ticket. We mentioned are we being kicked out? we were gonna order more food & for time being we were gonna hang out. After 3rd time of her asking us to close out ticket we felt they wanted us out so they could change the game for the other customers. I guess that’s how you run business. Never returning or recommended. Business success runs on returning customers & word of mouth. Hope your business slows down & none at all, with force to shut down. Plenty of other restaurants in Eastlake/Horizon & surrounding area

Had an awesome experience at Shack Slide & Brew on Eastlake, and a huge part of that was our bartender, Miah. From the moment we sat down, Miah was friendly, attentive, and clearly knew their stuff. Drinks were perfectly made, recommendations were on point, and the vibe they brought to the bar made the whole visit even better. You can tell Miah genuinely cares about the guests and the experience. If you’re stopping by, do yourself a favor and grab a seat at the bar—Miah will take great care of you!

Best pizza in town in my opinion and with their specials during the week for us on a budget and you have the time you cant go wrong!! Their sausage is so good 🙂 we got pepperoni sausage and a pepperoni with vinigar jalapenois you can also choose fresh jalapenios real cool. Half off wine bottles on weds! Clean looking facility! Whoever is cooking in the afternoon shout out to them and Erika was a great host! Thanks guys we all loved it

I’m a regular customer at their McRae location & decided to try the new one on Eastlake. Bad Idea!!! I’ve never seen a pizza come out of the kitchen like the one we got. The toppings completely slipped off and the slices tore in half. The crust was soggy and paper thin. Manager made us another one, it was just OK. But at least the Waitress was great!
