Just a great restaurant. We had our new years eve dinner here and it was a great time. With a Alice in Wonderland theme, awesome food and some short theatrical performances by the staff.
It was all worked out very well and even my gluten allergic girlfriend had an amazing time. For 50 pounds per person it felt like an absolute bargain. Only small negative note is, that it was relatively cold within the local while we had dinner.
But in any way we can only recommend going there.

My husband and I have frequented The Seahorse for drinks and snacks in the past to enjoy the beautiful view of Brighton and have always received incredible service from Ray and Dan.Today we were treated to a roast and enjoyed the wild mushroom pudding accompanied with generous sides and a black forest trifle- the birthday truffles were a lovely touch! . The food was delicious and well presented, the drinks equally delightful. We look forward to our next visit!

It was great fun planning the day with Bex and we cannot thank you enough that our vision of how we would like the room to look became a reality and was just perfect. The food as always was amazing. The Manager Martin along with Rob and the rest of the staff worked tirelessly to deliver fantastic service which our guest commented on. We would definitely recommend this venue for any celebration.

I’ve worked at The Seahorse a number of times now as a wedding photographer. It’s one of my absolutely favourite venues. I mean, how could you beat the location?
There are a few ceremony options available nearby including the bandstand, and Brighton registry office.The reception area with that stunning view is of course the centrepiece, and it’s beautiful.
Amazing beach access, a very lively location with passers by wishing the bride and groom well. Lots of fun photo opportunities. Very photogenic. The staff are also very friendly. Highly recommended for your big day.

Today seeing Rob and Ray was no different, great hospitality and service as it should be.
They have made a great effort putting up the Christmas ball balls on the ceiling, again attention to detail on point.

Fantastic views and lovely inside decor. Had a Valentine’s Day anniversary lunch. Food was delicious, good selection of starters and mains. The service was excellent and the waiters made us feel really special. The indoor restaurant is lovely. The outside tables are great for a coffee. Really recommend.

During a cold, sunny day in February, we walked into this place with no reservations, but were welcomed inside. The main reason we chose this place is that there were several fish dishes to choose from. It was a bonus to find it with an ocean view!
The food was prepared by a chef with talent. In 2 visits to the restaurant, 3 out of 4 meals we ordered included fish, the 4th was a delicious pork loin. The haddock, hake, sea bass, and mussels, and pork loin, were all presented in an appealing way, prepared perfectly, and the flavor encouraged us to come back again.
The service was friendly but professional, quick, and thorough. We loved looking out the window as we drank our wine, escalating an even better mood! Thank you for creating an atmosphere for a great day!

We recently had our wedding reception at The Seahorse and had such an incredible day. The staff decorated the venue for us whilst we were at the ceremony which took a massive stress away from us. They did it exactly how we wanted it and even packed all of our stuff up at the end of the night to collect the next day. The food and drink were amazing and the staff serving us were incredibly friendly. We would definitely recommend this venue for any celebration. The Bookings Manager helped us out so much in planning the timing of the day, what food and drinks packages we would like and always got back to us very quickly when we had any queries.

Went to The Seahorse tonight for a midweek date night. Have been several times before and it never disappoints. I am pescatarian and my boyfriend eats meat. It is actually quite hard to find a restaurant to accommodate both meal requirements with options that are appealing for us both. Despite the menu being small compared to the average menu offering, what is on offer is a great and everything we ordered was delicious and all plates were cleared. What they do, they do well. The main dishes had some really fantastic vegetable and potato accompaniments with them that we had never tried before and were really creative. Hats off to the chef. All were a hit. It was a bit quiet, being midweek and a very chilly evening but we were made to feel comfortable and well looked after by the warm and welcoming staff. I think it was Ray and Rob who served us. Thank you to you both. I love the location of this restaurant, beautiful coastal views and the decor inside for Christmas was lovely. The time it must have taken to hang all those baubles from the ceiling! I don’t think I would have had the patience. Please do support this lovely restaurant, you won’t regret it.
