This was a pleasant surprise….Located across the street from the Historic Tybee Lighthouse and on the grounds of Fort Screven…AT NORTH BEACH…
THEE IS LOTS OF HANDICAPPED PARKING AND LOTS ON LIGHTHOUSE SIDE AS WELL AS THE OCEAN SIDE OF TH BUILDING….THERE ARE NICE CLEAN RESTROOMS, TRASH CAN SITES…THERE IS A HANDICAP RAMP !

Was never open when it’s supposed to be, closed early. The food was decent for the price but how can I buy it whenever it’s never open? Very disappointed.

I’ve never left a review before, but the lady working the window today was possibly the rudest person I’ve ever met. She was flat out mean. To the point that it felt staged or maybe it was being recorded or something. We’ve met so many nice people since arriving on the island yesterday, but she was a miserable person to have working the window. I hope she finds some happiness.

Everything was fine. Minus the lady at register on July 5th. She looked like we were bothering her. Then as I waited for my large order people were like. ‘I appreciate it…’ ‘thank you so much’.. but the while time. She acted like we were bothering her. I know it’s hot. But how how do you expect tips. PLUS they missed an order of fries. Definitely check ya’ll’s order. Cause you feel like you annoying them not even a sorry.

I am only going to address the service which was by far the worst I’ve seen in a while. The lady behind the counter did not want to be there and it showed. My 10 year old daughter asked a simple question about the food and the lady not only ignored her but turned up the volume on her phone and kept watching on her phone. My wife then patiently went to ask a question (because we were trying to order simple ice cream) and the lady rolled her eyes… I mean, who does this especially when you are in the service industry and supposed to be serving others… Unbelievable. It’s sad that one person can ruin the experience of what could have been an enjoyable time eating ice cream on the beach but this Lady unfortunately was able to do that.

We got 2 cheese burgers, 2 cheese sticks, and two sodas. Turned out to $30, and given that this place is in heavy tourist spots. It was decently priced. The food tasted really good, and the lady working there is very nice. The atmosphere in the area is laid back, and relaxing too.
Definitely a great place to have a filling snack.

My husband and I went next door to the North Beach Bar & Grill- We came in around 1-2pm on a Thursday and sat at the bar outside. Staff seemed short staffed and slow. Received drinks when we arrived and then it took a while someone to come back and check on us. We both decided to go next door to the Salty Pelican and were not disappointed! The Mac n’ Cheese bites were cheesy and spicy! The chicken quesadilla was also so good! Definitely recommend!

Came to review the service and saw the other reviews and wasn’t surprised. Lady that is usually working at the stand is extremely rude. Refuses to get certain things and says they are out of stock but whenever other people are working they always have them. Rolls her eyes and has an attitude. Don’t know why the owner would continue to employ such a horrible employee.

Actually turned out to be my favorite place we ate on this vacation. Everything we ordered was Fantastic!! Breaded chicken sandwich, burger, nachos and ice cream. Food was good enough I would have never expected it to come out of such a tiny pit stop place. Will go every time we go to north beach from now on!
