First time trying this location and went back twice in one day (lunch and dinner). It’s a great option for those who love salads/soups and/or are trying to make healthier choices!
How it works: if it’s your first time, read this! When you walk in, to your left will be trays and bowls. Place a bowl on your tray and help yourself to all of the salad items along the serving line! Be aware!!- there are so many options that you will probably say “aw man I wish I knew this was here before I started.” Please feel free to walk the line and see what’s available/out of stock before starting. They also have hot chicken and taco meat available about halfway down that can go unnoticed! Furthermore, there is also multiple soups available after the salad bar- go see whats available! There is also yogurt and fruit available towards the end of the salad line, but before the salad dressings. They also have cooked foods like baked chicken, baked potatoes, green beans etc at the end of the line next to the registers! Drinks are separate. Pricing is based entirely on the weight of your bowl(s)!
Service: the lady who helped us during lunch was nice and asked if we needed any help or if it was our first time. She explained the process well and set us up for the rewards program! The gentleman that worked the dinner shift was less helpful and really seemed uninterested in being there.
Atmosphere: clean and open. Plenty of seating. There are gloves available for the serving line.
Food: make your own salad style place. Tons of options! There was more available for lunch versus dinner (sold out of things). Lettuces, Spinach, carrots, tomatoes, cheeses, quinoa, peppers, cucumbers, onions, croutons, tortilla strips, corn, black beans, shrimp, chicken (hot and cold), taco meat, imitation crab, chicken salad, boiled egg, fruit, bacon bits, mushrooms, cilantro, broccoli, chickpeas, multiple types of dressings. They also have soups- potato, tomato, broccoli and cheese, chili, etc. They also have cooked foods- baked chicken, green beans, potatoes.
Prices: based entirely on weight! My salad bowl filled, 2 small cups of dressing and green beans plus a drink was $10. Join the rewards program (free) to gain points and earn free food.
Location: along Nelson road in lake charles. In a shopping center type parking lot. Limited parking. Easy to miss if you aren’t really looking for it.

I originally went to salata down the street but did not enjoy my experience and I remembered seeing salad station on my way to my destination. The staff was friendly and I love the concept of being able to do as little or as much I like and the prices are great. I will definitely be back.
