I tried this place three times. I want to like it so bad but I can’t. All three times The grilled chicken is terrible quality. It has a weird texture and no flavor. You get all this wilted lettuce with your salad and it’s gross. Let me be clear this is not the type of lettuce I ordered, I got all three times lettuce within the salad I had to pick out because it was slimy and falling apart into little slimy mushy pieces that get tossed all through the salad. Not because of dressing, that obviously wouldn’t turn the lettuce into slime in a few minutes. They have a bunch of topping choices, which have all been good, but I can’t get past the terrible, dead lettuce, mixed all in with everything and the terrible chicken. And some of the workers smell like cigarette smoke.

We had been on the road for over six hours and wanted something fresh, so we looked up “salad near me” and this was recommended. The wife and I were very pleased with The Salad Shop! Food was quite good and very reasonably priced. My salad was HUMONGOUS with just the right amount of every ingredient and her wrap was super tasty as well. All of the veggies were clean, crisp, and fresh. If we lived in the area this would be a frequent spot for us. I would absolutely recommend it for a quick lunch.

Disappointed… was really excited to try this place because I LOVE redleaf. Came in at 6 to get soup & salads. The soups were cold because they were obviously trying to close and the pasta fagioli was so mushy. The lobster bisque had good flavor but again cold and had no meat, the salads also had barely any protein. This place has potential but needs some improvement

I had a great experience at The Salad Shop and am happy to leave a 4-star review! The place was spotless, and it’s clear the manager takes pride in their work—they were super friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. After reading some of the 1-star reviews, I can honestly say my visit was nothing like those—I had a positive experience from start to finish. I’m already looking forward to going back!

The Salad Shop is a clean, friendly, happy place to enjoy lunch with friends or family. The service was efficient and courteous. The ingredients were fresh and the selections were more than you could guess. It was easy to order. The six of us in our group each enjoyed the salad or wrap they chose. We all plan to go back. I’m grateful to have a healthy, inviting place to go to with my friends. I’ll be back.

I’ve personally never had a bad experience. Their service is pretty regular as far as like friendliness goes. Bunch of young chicks working here mostly. I assume from the surrounding colleges. The salads are fresh as far as lettuce and toppings go. My only complaint is their meat sometimes doesn’t taste fresh. I have had their breaded chicken, lemon pepper chicken, and grilled. And stopped adding chicken to my salads altogether. Can get pricey depending on what you add but you pay for the freshness of a salad. It is a large portion. Really filling. I go frequently. I always order over the phone and it’s usually ready when I arrive. They have seating but I usually take to go.

The tuna that came with my salad was brown, slimy, foul smelling and had what appeared to be worms all through out. Not sesame seeds mistaken as worms as shown in photo. When I spoke with the manager she said “oh I’ll have to make a fresh batch of tuna. It probably went bad I can make you another with the new tuna. The zero sense of urgency when it came to spoiled raw fish was very concerning. Will not be ordering from them again.

Not bad – staff were nice, shop was clean. the salad i got was good and fresh. the only negative is the “tomato bisque” is literally just campbells tomato soup. it had chunks of the soup in it, like you’d get with canned, and tastes just like it. i was really excited for this soup, and it was a big let down.

Went there during lunchtime. Giving it a 1 star because the manager( if not the manager, she clearly was the person in charge at that time) spoke poorly to an employee. The manager was upset the employee made a mistake. I was appalled how she degraded the employee in front of customers. The employee was in tears. Most importantly, no one should be humiliated ever. I won’t go back for this reason.
