Stunning views of the Hudson and Tappan Zee bridge. Would be amazing to come in spring and sit outside. Service was great, friendly and attentive. Food was a mixed bag for me. Smash burger and fries were delicious. Burger was gooey and juicy and fries crunchy and tasty. The cod sandwich was disappointing. There were broken pieces of fish on the bun and seemed like a small amount,but what was there was tasty. Loved that steamed spinach was a side option. It was a large portion and very good. Was excited that Taylors Ham was a side on the brunch menu but unfortunately what was served was Canadian Bacon. We shared a tres leche cake for dessert. Not a connoisseur of this dessert but it was tasty and surprisingly the canned peaches on top were a hit with everyone. Will definitely return when we can sit outside.

What truly set them apart was the service. After I left some items behind, Sean went above and beyond to ship them all the way to California for me. That level of care is rare! Between the outstanding hospitality and the amazing atmosphere, I can’t recommend this place enough.

This place is a 10/10! The Sail House completely exceeded my expectations. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. We rented one of the igloos for our dining experience, and it was beautiful, cozy, and truly unforgettable. What impressed me most is that their incredible service didn’t end when we left the restaurant — I accidentally left some personal items behind, and even though I’m from California, Sean was kind enough to locate them and ship them back to me. That level of care and hospitality is rare. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the experience!

Gorgeous place. Classy, beautiful interior. Staff members are polite, professionals. We went there with kids and they didn’t disappoint to attend every request from them with care and kind smile. As per the food quality, everything seemed to be fresh and clean cooked.
Loved the oysters! Can’t say same about the steak, unfortunately. We had 3 of them. All three were average or even below. And it’s not only because of the burned around or not really rare, it just had no flavor. Pretty disappointing. But overall food experience was ok. The environment and general atmosphere helped a lot. So it was ok.
You can not miss out on outdoor area! It is gorgeous! Stunning! Soo beautiful and magical! Even tho it was cold and freezing, accompanied with pretty strong wind, we stayed couple minutes.

Do yourself a favor, sit at the bar, and ask for Marlene. She makes the best drinks, has such a cool personality, and makes this experience worth every penny.
We tried the oysters, shrimp cocktail, fried calamari, and quite a few different kind of drinks. All of the team members were so kind, Marlene made our visit amazing, and we met some really cool people at the bar by just being friendly. The Sailhouse has amazing food, and the best vibe!

This is a great place for a river view meal while we wait on our son’s train coming from the city! We have been before but today is Sunday so I am able to enjoy the brunch menu! We both enjoyed chowder and then I had the fabulous Eggs Benedict with Lobster and Mark had a lobster roll! Perfect weather, perfect temperature and fabulous food!

surprised to see so many 5 star reviews, that was not our experience. We got seated right away last Wednesday at around 6pm. It took over 15min for a server to ask us for drinks. Dad was pissed, he had to get up to get the waiter to come over who helped the table next to us before then coming to us, not a good start. We ordered the calamari and a Cesar salad the moment the waiter showed up as well as some wines and the only hot tea they had for me was Lipton, that’s fine for me though just wish I wasn’t shivering for 15min waiting for a table touch. We ordered everything at the very first table touch some smash burgers a salad and a wrap. The Cesar salad never came and they tried to charge us for it, the waiter was straight missing the entire meal and the food was ok at best. The fries and canola I’m pretty sure were straight from the Sysco truck. While the atmosphere is amazing, for the price, I expect much better service and much better food. We won’t be back.

Truthfully the best dining experience I’ve ever had. The staff were all super attentive and accommodating. Sean the owner is the best, he is a true hustler and does not settle in making sure his guests are comfortable, content, and full from the most delectable menu items. The lobster roll is an absolute must. 100/10 experience and will definitely be back. Thank you Sean and The Sailhouse for an unbelievable dining experience!!!

The Sailhouse in Tarrytown really impressed me. You get incredible views of the Hudson River and Mario Cuomo Bridge, especially at sunset, but the food was just as memorable. Everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor. The Oysters Rockefeller were definitely the standout, perfectly baked with creamy spinach and just the right amount of garlic and breadcrumbs.
We also had the crab cake with basil aioli, mussels in a flavorful broth, and Nolan’s chowder which was rich and comforting. The menu offers a great mix of shareable appetizers and hearty mains, with some fun takes on New-American classics.
The atmosphere is laid-back but lively, especially with live music by the dock. Service was friendly and attentive, and the all-day happy hour was a nice bonus. Overall, this place delivers on both the views and the food. Perfect spot for a relaxed meal by the water.

We had my daughter’s Bridal Shower here ! From the moment I stepped into the door until the minute we walked out every staff member was so helpful and attentive. I can’t even say enough, the service, the food, the atmosphere, the sunshine everything. But I’m going to tell you what people care about, and that’s the food. The food was unbelievable ! All my guests raved about the food. The appetizers alone were enough, but the main course.. delicious.The girl who helped us set up were patient , friendly and most of all attentive to all the needs of the party and guests. All I can say is the minuet it was over I said one of my daughters , I have to do a google review , which I rarely do, because people should know how much The Sailhouse delivers on food, service and smiles !!
