The Rusty Bee Bar & Lounge is an absolute gem! The ambiance is the perfect blend of cozy and upscale — warm lighting, stylish decor, and a vibe. The service is incredible; every staff member is attentive and genuinely makes you feel taken care of without ever being overbearing. And the quality? Absolutely amazing cocktail lounge!
The menu is packed with creative, delicious drinks, and every one I’ve tried has been a hit. The atmosphere is incredible—cozy, stylish, and the perfect place to unwind or catch up with friends. The bartenders are the real highlight though: super accommodating, genuinely fun to talk to, and they clearly love what they do. Easily one of my new favorite spots. Highly recommend! They also have food trucks almost daily!

I have mixed feelings but ultimately I will be coming back. I know people are coming here for the cocktails but I was feeling cozy and craved a hot chocolate. I ordered the “Choco Dreams” and sat on the couches next to the fireplace. Choco Dreams comes to $6 so I expected a luxuriously creamy and rich beverage. Instead I sipped on a watery room-temp drink. I would seriously consider reformulating the drink. Especially if that base is what you’re using in your alcoholic hot chocolate. The other note I would have is the music takes away from the bars ambience. Honestly I’m not totally sure what vibe you’re going for here. Between the upscale decor, low lighting, and bar games I have no complaints. But I fail to see where the song YMCA fits in to the atmosphere. You guys are in between a laid back hangout and upscale lounge kind of vibe. Next time I hope the music compliments the space better. The inside of the lounge is so cute! Many comfy seating options making it a perfect spot for hanging out with friends or reading alone. They also have board games, darts, and pool! Like I said I will be back, these are just a couple of things that threw me off.

Lovely lounge with a preppy and cozy atmosphere. Looks like it has outdoor seating during warmer months. Free parking in the back. Cocktails are on point!! very nice. It’s a little too brightly lit but again very cute, well decorated. Nice variety of seating arrangements. It’s a good option for where it’s located – since it’s embedded in a neighborhood complex. There aren’t any other bars etc next to it or very near it. It’s a trek for some but a boon for people that live right above it or in adjacent buildings and homes. Also when we left we noticed a food truck at the outdoor area and the firepit was lit. Didn’t get a chance to sample the food – perhaps next time!

Came here for the DJ tonight and it was a fun vibe for the art in the place and the DJ, Audifax!
They also had a Smashburger food truck but I don’t believe it’s part of this business. It was great though because it was totally fine to order food from the food truck and sit outside and enjoy the venue.

I’m a big fan of Atomic Koi, so I’ve been eagerly awaiting the arrival of its sister bar The Rusty Bee Lounge. The first drink was great, and I’m sure I’ll bee ( ) back for more soon! The atmosphere is great — the outdoor lawn games, food truck area, pool table, and more are a great addition to the neighborhood!

The lounge serves beverages only – no food. Negroni for $12 seems reasonable compared to Madison prices. We had friendliest welcoming and attentive service.

I was there at 7pm on a Friday evening September 2025, for an employee event.
There was a full parking lot. I parked on Cheryl Parkway and walked 1/2 block to the front door.
There was a band playing outside and a food truck (no food service inside). Kids playing outside in spacious yard area near patio tables and fire pit. There was guy dancing in front of the band twirling a hula hoop on his head, torso, arms, legs, and feet.
The lounge/bar area was packed with people. Self service with 3 bartenders. Unique menu of yummy drinks ranging $12 and up. Several varieties of beer on tap plus cans and bottles.
The noise level was loud but we could hear each other. There was a line for bathrooms around 9pm.
Overall it was a fun experience!

Absolutely the best! The cocktails were all fantastic, delicious, and fun. The service is friendly and fast. They also have a beautiful patio with food trucks and yard games. 100/10 will be back!

We recently hosted a couples shower at The Rusty Bee Lounge and it was absolutely perfect! The venue is beautiful-chic, cozy, and perfect for a celebration.
From the very beginning, the owner and staff were incredibly helpful and had such a positive, can-do attitude that made the entire planning process a breeze.
The drinks were a hit-creative, delicious, and beautifully presented. They were also very accommodating with our needs and went out of their way to make the event feel personalized and special. Highly recommend the Rusty Bee Lounge for any event-especially if you want a memorable, picture perfect setting!
