Loved this restaurant. Found it on Facebook and took a road trip to visit. Worth our 2.5 hour drive. Food was delicious. Loved the atmosphere. Met the owners daughter, Sims, and she is a gem. Side note… the rolling chairs were amazing and made for comfortable seating as close to or as far away from the table as you desired. For all my vertically challenged peeps out there …. I know you understand !

This restaurant defines what’s considered as a hidden gem. The servers were great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. My appetizer was BBQ Shrimp very tasty. My main meal was Red Snapper, and it’s was cooked perfectly and prepared just like I asked for. It is a great location that I will be visiting next time I’m in Meridian.

I took my mom to The Rustler on Saturday, May 6, 2023, for an early Mother’s Day dinner. We arrived a little after 5, right after opening. When I saw how beautiful it was inside I felt under dressed. I asked the friendly hostess was there a dress code? She smiled and said clothes . The hostess and staff are nice and friendly. The steaks are delicious. We really enjoyed.

Over all a good experience. Place could use a few updates. Seating was a bit cramped but the service was good. Our waiter was spot on!! The fried green tomatoes we ordered as an appetizer, well, it was hard to tell where the flavor from the tomato was. The breading and sauce overpowered it. Our steak was perfect and so was it he red snapper. Like i said, over all it was a good experience.

As soon as I walked in I felt like I was in the right spot! The staff were friendly and made you feel like you were a regular even though I had never even heard of the place before today. I had the cowboy ribeye, grilled asparagus, baked potato loaded, and a side salad, and had to get some of the red velvet cheesecake! Let me start by saying every bite I had was absolutely delicious! They started me off with some bread and it was very good! The salad I got with ranch which is homemade and it was probably the best ranch I’ve had! The steak was enormous!!! It was cooked to perfection (MR for me) and the flavor was all the way through the meat and in every chew… it was tender and juicy! Oh man that was good! The asparagus was delicious I like that they grilled it and didn’t cook it too much, it still had just the right amount of crunch in it. The cheesecake was sooooo good… I almost didn’t order it cuz I was stuffed already but I had to try it… I ate every bite of it… cussing myself at each one because I was so full but there was no way I was gonna stop eating that little slice of heaven

My husband and I made a last minute decision to try this place. We’ve always wanted to. We were on our way to Livingston, Alabama to eat at Diamond Jim’s and decided we would rather eat locally if they could get us in. It’s Valentine’s weekend after all and we didn’t have reservations. When we entered the small lobby it was pretty full but we were quickly greeted by the friendliest little waitress ( who turned out to be the owners daughter) she told me not to worry that she would get us in and the wait wouldn’t be that long. I was surprised because the place was PACKED! While we’re were standing there waiting , I know I counted 10 other people that came in and she rushed to greet them and reassured that she would be happy to get them a table as well.

My family and I most recently visited this steakhouse and we had a great time through and through! Our food and service were both outstanding. Everyone had ordered a meat entree and everything was cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic! You can tell the entire staff works together to help make sure that everyone has what they need at all times. Would definitely recommend making the trip to give these guys a shot!!

My experience at the Rustler was awesome . The atmosphere was very warm and cozy, and the service was absolutely impeccable. Every single service staff member that I had contact with was extremely pleasant and helpful, and it felt like they were genuinely happy to serve. I was blown away at how they all worked together as a team to make every person they interacted with feel welcome! Shelby and Sims, my server/bartender were phenomenal. They were attentive, friendly and accommodating.There was also an older gentleman and older lady that made sure everything was going well. I really appreciated that! The service I received at this place was beyond my expectation, and I observed that everyone was being treated with the same level of service. My food, drinks and desert were all perfect! I ordered the 30oz Cowboy ribeye Med-well because I was concerned that the medium would be too rare, but it was perfectly med-well as requested. So, the steak temp was true to request, juicy, great quality and delicious. I also ordered the banana pudding cheesecake to take away and it was also amazing! If you are wondering if you should give this place a try, don’t think twice. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth every dime.

Another great meal at our favorite restaurant. Sorry we missed Semmes tonight, but heard she was pretty busy. They are always consistent and have the best food and service around.
