They offer a menu with comfort food. The roadhouse burger was really good. I was told it’s supposed to be serviced with a special sauce but the waitress brought me BBQ sauce. We went as a small group and wasn’t busy. One of the persons got their food like 15mins later which I understand but the waitress didn’t tell them that or explain why was taking long. I also ordered a drink which the waitress forgot and she left us sitting there without closing our tab out. We sat for a while waiting for someone to close out our tab. I asked around and service is not great but hopefully they can improve. It sets off a great up north atmosphere vib with gambling, drinks and comfort food.

Ruffed Grouse Roadhouse is a Native American Casino in Lengby, Minnesota and is open Mon-Sat 9am-1am, Sun noon-midnight. The casino’s gaming space features thirty-two gaming machines.
They are the local low key bar & because the are part casino there is smoking aloud, which for some is great for other not! They host bingo, meat raffles & have a restaurant in the back. Service can be a challenge & lacks consistency especially during at busy times. There is plenty of space at the bar or high tables are big & comfortable for up to 6. We only had the apps, the mixed basket which was fine – nothing to special for the money, probably wouldn’t order again.

Had a great meal with my boys! The food was great. The Steak bites I had were cooked perfectly and the cottage fries were crispy and flaked well when you bite into them.

I really like this bar. The people are fun. But there is smoking and I personally will never be able to spend a long amount of time in the atmosphere. The food is really great, bar food, excellent burgers. Love to call for to go. Kids love the mini corn dogs.
There is a long bar, high seating and regular table seating. Small off sale.

Would have no problem getting this place a five star rating because the drinks were mixed good, The beer was nice and cold, and had a good atmosphere. Don’t fall with some of the bar staff, ordered food and drinks with the family only to not see our waitress again. Ended up having to go to the bar to get our tab. Later that evening a couple of us went back and had very slow service. I will go back, because again can’t let just one or two bad waitresses bring the place down.

Since the new owners have taken over, the place went really down hill. The food is blah and takes forever to receive. Can tell everything’s fried in the same old oil.
The service here is probably the worst I’ve ever seen anywhere. You will sit there for hours before getting asked if you need another one. You have to flag someone down for every drink.
This place is on the reservation so people can smoke in here still. You will walk into a cloud as soon as you open the door and will leave smelling like an ashtray.
The “usuals” here are very nice and the only reason I come back.

If you want to stand there waiting for a waitress for 15 minutes and then smell like an ashtray after said 15 minutes. Definitely hit up this joint.

Stopped in yesterday for lunch. Had a grilled chicken sandwich with an order of onion rings and a coke. There were 6 small onion rings. I asked for no lettuce or tomatoes on the sandwich. I only wanted mayo and pickles. The sandwich came dry. No mayo and no pickles, so I asked for mayo. I was charged an extra $.50 for mayo and another $.50 for onions, which were sposed to be on the sandwich, according to the menu. When I paid my bill, I told the waitress that I have never been charged for condiments on a sandwich before, and that I wouldn’t be coming back. She (older gray haired lady) shrugged her shoulders in disregard. Not sure if the new owners read these or not, but I’ve been coming here, on my way to and from the lake, since the place opened 15 years ago. I don’t think that they would want to lose business, nor ratings for reasons like this?
