I had an amazing experience at this Indian restaurant! The food was incredibly delicious and full of authentic flavors. The Achari Paneer was my absolute favorite — perfectly spiced, tangy, and cooked to perfection. The curries were rich and flavorful, and the Missi Roti paired beautifully with them.
The customer service was just as impressive — the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, making the whole dining experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon. Highly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic Indian food!

2. Malai Kofta
3. Missi Roti, Chilli & Garlic Naan, Roti – Thin, Crispy, Well Done
What we loved:
1. Service
2. Food quality, taste
3. Very Orderly and sequential serving of food allowing us to enjoy hot food, not everything was dumped together.

Arrived with my family of 5 at 5.15pm and although the place was empty we just could not get the attention of anyone to order some drinks to start.
We were seated metres away from the hallway to the toilets. Honestly the smell of the toilets was so strong it was off-putting.
We noticed staff walking the hallway spraying deodorants to placate the issue.
The food however was great! So much food! Absolutely no complaints there and would get takeaway from the Royal Palace 100%.
The live music was really fun too we just wish we could have stayed longer! But the smell!!!!!

This place was literally spectacular. Having a nice family friendly dinner at the royal palace for my daughters birthday couldn’t have gone any better with the food, service and calm atmosphere being incredible. We ordered the mango chicken, the royal butter chicken, and a spicy type of rice, overall they were all absolutely delicious. As for the entrees, the cheese nan and the fun, cultured pani puri can’t have been better. Overall, if there were ten stars you could give in a review this place would get top marks.

Delicious Indian food with such rich flavours and generous portions! Loved the Chef’s Special Lamb Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala — perfectly balanced and full of spice. The Kale Chaat Pakoda was such a fresh and tasty start, and the garlic naan was soft and fragrant. Friendly service and the live music from 6:30pm made it a warm, cosy dinner spot in Mona Vale. Honestly some of the best Indian food in Sydney – they don’t hold back on flavour at all. What stood out to me were the massive portion sizes, which places it a cut above many other Indian restaurants which will charge more for smaller servings. We’ve been to many Indian restaurants all across Sydney and for me they have the best biryani and garlic naan. Their butter chicken is also a standout and super sweet and smoky. There are LOTS of vegetarian/vegan options!
Service was fast and friendly, food came out piping hot and our waiters even explained the origin of the dishes to us.
There’s a bit of side street parking next to the restaurant but can be competitive. Definitely a great venue for family gatherings, work parties and a great dinner place for anyone you want to impress!
