Their subs have been good in the past. Unfortunately, they’ve were horrible this visit.Very cheap on the fixings. Sandwich was mostly bread. Go to Jersey Mike’s instead.

We have been going to Lyles for many years.My Son and I got subs which were amazing. I always get a large clam chowder for my wife. The quality of the Clam chowder was very disappointing . The Clam chowder was over salty had a vinegar taste and was very watery. Definitely not the quality we are a custom to getting from Lyles. As long term customers I find it hard to say this but we probably won’t return. Very disappointing

Very friendly staff and fresh food. However the atmosphere is a little lacking with unused equipment and not really showing who Lyle is.
Subs were exactly as requested with fresh bread.
If they just organized unused equipment with a purpose or removed it and gave it a Lyle theme it would be such a welcoming place for subs/sandwiches.
Once again good subs/sandwiches in Schenectady! Go today!

Today we bought two subs, turkey and cheese, meatball sub, Mac and cheese, cheese and broccoli soup. I asked them to toast the bread and melt the cheese on the meatball sub. The bread was soggy and sauce was unloved very sour flour. I guess they have better vold cut sandwiches than hot. The Mac and cheese was very unique and not in a good way. I didn’t even finish my food and I live to eat? I Know I am only one person but try it out yourself. I will try their soup next time.

I bought an american mix sub from them today and was disappointed yet again? What do you think of this sub? I was hoping for some more meat on this sandwich, as of right now I am better off going to subway or the bodegas around my way. They know how to put meat on they subs
