Very impressive restaurant, the food was delicious. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. This Mexican restaurant is definitely a keeper so much better than the other ones in Bogalusa. It’s a must try. It will not disappoint you.

Everything I’ve had for their menu has been wonderful (especially their loaded steak fries) but what keeps me coming back is their shrimp poboy. In my opinion Roosters has the best shrimp poboy in town.
The battered shrimp are fluffy, doesn’t taste like oil, the bread doesn’t shred the pallet and they put the perfect amount of mayo. Their fries are crispy and seasoned. I will definitely keep coming back.

So when I got there it was late place was empty. Got my own menu napkins and silverware. Lights are way to bright. Food was good. But there was a weird peice of something unidentified on a chip. I most likely won’t be going back.

I love roastbeef poboys so decided to try roosters. Well I was very disappointing. $11.95 for mostly bread. It had very little meat. Tasted good but for the amount of meat they put on it and the size, that should be a $5 poboy. Won’t go there again.

This place is so good. They have ax throwing and pool. The food is soooo good and at a reasonable price. They have a small but very broad menu. Something for the kids and for picky eaters. I loved the small town atmosphere there. Everyone is nice and attentive.
