Avoid this overhyped spot at all costs—it’s a total disappointment and borderline tourist trap. I went expecting a nice rooftop vibe in Georgetown, but what I got was overpriced mediocrity wrapped in pretension.
First off, they automatically slap a 20% service charge/gratuity onto every single check, even for just one or two people (and obviously for larger groups too). This isn’t reserved for big parties like most places—it’s standard here no matter the size. The staff seems to think this entitles them to provide minimal effort or good service. Our server was inattentive, slow, and barely engaged, yet that mandatory 20% was locked in before we even saw the bill. It feels like they’re banking on the auto-gratuity so they don’t have to actually earn tips through decent hospitality.
Then there’s the music: blasting at ear-splitting levels, very loud, and straight-up South Beach club vibes—pulsing EDM and pop remixes that make normal conversation impossible. You’re yelling across the table just to be heard, which kills any chance of relaxing with friends or enjoying the supposed views.
Drinks were average at best for the steep prices, food options limited and nothing special, and the whole atmosphere felt forced and unwelcoming. Locals and tourists alike: steer clear. This place prioritizes squeezing every dollar over delivering a pleasant experience. Save your money and go literally anywhere else in DC for a rooftop drink.

The venue has a vibrant and appealing atmosphere that initially drew us in. However, several aspects detracted from what could have been an enjoyable visit.
The music was excessively loud, making normal conversation difficult and creating an overwhelming environment. While the energy is lively, it came at the expense of comfort for a sit-down meal.
Service felt somewhat impersonal and rushed, with frequent check-ins primarily focused on upselling additional drinks rather than genuine hospitality. The overall cleanliness and layout could also be improved, as the space felt a bit cluttered and not as well-maintained as expected.
Most disappointingly, a 20% service fee was automatically added to our bill for a party of just two, which was only disclosed in fine print at the bottom of the check. This felt unexpected and excessive for a small group, especially given the service level, and it contributed to the impression that guests are treated more as transactions than valued customers.
While the food [assuming it was good or neutral—add if relevant] had its merits, these issues left us feeling undervalued. I’d rate this experience 2–3 stars and suggest the restaurant reconsider its policies on mandatory fees (particularly for smaller parties), volume levels, and service approach to better match the welcoming vibe it aims for.

The views are gorgeous, the crowd felt fun and welcoming, and the whole place just had that energy that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. Some cocktails hit the mark, but a few felt like they needed a little more love and attention. With a space this amazing, I expected the drinks to shine just as bright. Still, I’d absolutely come back. it’s one of those spots that makes you feel good just being there.

Beautiful skyline view.
Comfy couch and hightop table seating. Nice decor.
Quick service.
Ok cocktails. Kinda pricey for what we got.
Disappointing hummus. Carrots were not super fresh. Pita was definitely old. They toasted them to make them seem fresh. They were crunchy and not fresh.

Quick service and really great cocktails – although I don’t often drink so don’t have much experience to compare. I enjoyed the food too but there are only a few choices. Just one bathroom which seems lame given the number of tables. Had to wait awhile to use it. Happy to say I’ve been here overall. Thank you.

We visited this bar twice. Our first visit was in late November 2024, and the cocktails were very good. (We had a Summer, Evening, and Upper, a Rooftop Express, and a Moscow Mule; all of them were solid.) We returned on a Monday about ten days ago, and the cocktails were, well, simply atrocious. I opened with one of the cocktails we had enjoyed the first time, a Rooftop Express; I can’t think of another way to descibe its flavor but to say that it tasted like saccharine cough medicine. My spouse opened with a leblon caipirinha, as he had enjoyed a very good one at another bar the previous evening. The version at the Graham rooftop was little more than overly sweet juice. I just gave up after one cocktail, but my spouse ordered a second one, the Signature Margarita, in hopes that our experiences thus far had been merely a fluke. Never had we tried a margarita that tasted like this; not only did it not taste like anything remotely close to a margarita, but it did not taste good at all. If you botch a cocktail such as a Margarita, then I’m afraid you’re all but hopeless. To our chagrin, we won’t come back again. The views are nice, but the cocktails should be at least adequate. (The cocktails are not precisely inexpensive, and given that they automatically charge a 22% surplus, there is no way to even signal, via the tip, how unpleasant the experience was.)

Great rooftop spot in Georgetown with beautiful views over the city. The drinks are solid and the atmosphere is fun but still laid-back enough to relax. Perfect place to bring friends, catch the sunset, or just enjoy cocktails with a view. It can get busy, so coming a little early is a good idea. Solid covered rooftops in DC.

Beautiful place, great food, not so great service. We came here on recommendation and I’m not sure if it was an off night but I wasn’t impressed. The location and the look are very nice. I absolutely love the aesthetic. The men who work valet are so nice and amazing at their job. HUGE props to them for helping with parking. I thought I was going to miss my reservation but they made sure that didn’t happen. We got to the rooftop and were immediately greeted by the lovely hostess and she brought us to our table. Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there. Our server came over ONCE to take our drink order and then we never saw her again. We had to keep getting the attention of the other servers so we could order food and more than one drink. The food was great and so were the drinks. Unfortunately, the terrible service of our specific server left me with a bad taste in my mouth. We had to wait way longer than we should have to order food and to get the check. Neither of us wanted to stay there for that long. Definitely going to come back again to see if it was an off night though because I loved the vibe and food.

We stopped here before our dinner reservations since the day was beautiful and I was looking forward to the rooftop views. There were no available tables, but also no one to let us know whether we should grab one ourselves or not bother because of reservations. We got drinks at the bar, bartender was busy and uninterested in answering the table related questions (understandably I guess, it’s not his job). My martini was ok, olives were tossed in there and no cocktail pick.

Super fun and a pleasure all around — Jeff Elstro (General Manager) and crew run a top notch place all around! White wine came with a bucket of ice (without asking)and was excellent (a decent selection). You need to have your phone— QR reader only for menu and drink/wine list. The view really is TERRIFIC! You get the Arlington (Clarendon) skyline AND Georgetown, DC —see pics! We arrived on a Friday at around 7:00pm and had to wait around 10 minutes to get in. The food plates were some of the best I have EVER sampled — they are really that good! We had the Takis – Asian style, and the fig and goat cheese small pizza. The meat was perfect and the pita dough for the pizza was fresh and not dry.
Later on it got a little noisy, but it’s a bar, and it’s popular!!! A lot of fun!!!
