We ducked into The Rocks for a quick bite while traveling through Big Sky and I’m so glad we did. Stellar service, great local beer served, and truly the best bowl of pho I’ve had! I did not expect such good pho (I got it with pork belly) and was super pleasantly surprised!

I can’t believe this place doesn’t have more reviews. What an absolute gem of a place. The drinks are reasonably priced and delicious. The staff are so friendly, and you can tell how passionate they are about the tasting room, trying all the different available spirits. A must visit if you’re going to Big Sky.

My husband and I had the pork belly pho. It was amazingly good. The broth is very similar to many Vietnamese pho restaurant in LA. So don’t let the name of the bar/restaurant fool you. You can get good pho in Big Sky.

Arguably one of my new favorite bars I’ve ever been to. The staff are fantastic (shout out to Richard) and recommend spirits that closely align with your preferences. Hours may or may not be correct on Google. Walk by even if you think it’s closed. Prices are extremely fair. We’ll be back hopefully sooner than later. Cheers

Fun spot in Big Sky with an Urban Flair! Did a Bourbon tasting from local distilleries. 1/2 pence pours at a $1 each. Pho was tasty, but had no bean sprouts. Loved the Thai Basil and another array of greasy veggies. Liquor Store had a good selection of local and Kentucky Bourbons.

We enjoy whiskey tasting and this place has all Montana distilled whiskey, rye and blended bourbon options (no single malts) which was quite a treat as these brands and distillers are not common where we are from. Bartender was excellent at suggesting the next tasting based on what other whiskeys we liked. Bonus: best smoked pork lardon was found heaped on top of a flatbread.
I’m putting $50-100 per person but note we also purchased 2 bottles of whiskey to go. Minus alcohol this ran about $25-50/person

A few buddies and I decided to stop in on a random Monday. Richard was amazing at taking care of us and very knowledgeable with informing us of the extensive local selection of whiskies and other spirits and liquers. The service and attention we were given was a very special experience and unmatched by any other whiskey bar I’ve been to. If you’re a whiskey aficionado or just curious, do yourself a favor and stop in. Can’t recommend it enough! Thanks Richard for the stellar service and experience!

Great flatbread and good beer. Staff was pleasant and approachable. I think they could improve the decor by getting rid of the harsh white lighting and going for a more yellowish warm feel. Would definitely visit again.

Took a Montana road trip and our evening up at Big Sky was the best, mostly in part because of the awesome people and vibe at The Rocks. We laughed and shared stories with the locals and the staff, who were all so kind and open. I will be back and let any friends heading that way that this is a must do in Big Sky. Thank you for a great evening!
